stayed at this hotel sept for 10 days good food,good staff all round,rooms were good and cleaned everyday,evening entertainment not fantastic (resident entertainer too childish and boring).would certainly go again though,in fact have booked for next year

had a week at this hotel
very clean
food lovely
staff helpful
entertainment was dreadful
not really a holiday for kids either - most of the holidaymakers were 50+
you could have heard a pin drop throughout the day - the place was silent
would not hurry back and surrounding area was like a ghost town

We are a couple of 60 year olds but young at heart, just returned from 5 nights half board at the Maritimo. We booked on the night before we went and used the Tripadvisor site as our guide (as always.) This has to be one of the cleanest and best run hotels we have ever stayed at. We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Maritimo just outside Alcudia. The hotel is very near the beach with a short walk across the busy road. On arrival at the hotel the Reception staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly. The hotel has lots of Germans so immediately you know that it will be a very good hotel. I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Maritimo with my boyfriend and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We're both only 26 and found this hotel suited to all age groups - loads of families and older couples so a nice mix. Lots of kids running about but gives the place a good atmosphere unlike a lot of dull adults-only hotels.The hotel is very clean and the staff bend over backwards to help. Just back after 10 days at this great hotel. Good location, great food and excellent facilities. They provide pool towels, so you don't have to take your own. Rooms cleaned everyday. Staff friendly and helpful. Allocated table good idea. We went with another couple so had a table for 4. Mjorcan and Gala buffet nights are fine if you like alot of seafood, a bit limited if you don't. Stayed 21-28 July. Was a pleasant experience at the hotel, reading all the other reviews, i seem to agree on certain things and disagree. The entertainment everyone is saying its rubbish but i could not believe it when they had my favourite band on on Wednesday.. The Bee Gees tribute, that was a great night for me, plus other bands, bingo were on in the week which were entertaining. Rooms were kept very clean and tidy everyday. Travelled from Edinburgh with my 6 year old daughter and stayed for 11 nights at the Hotel Maritimo. Had a fantastic time, rooms cleaned every day, hotel spotless and no getting up at crack of dawn to reserve a sun bed! You also get a fridge in your room which comes in handy. My partner and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Maritimo and we both had a brilliant time. The best thing about this hotel was the food, there was so much choice and the quality was excellent. This hotel was the best we have ever stayed in for food. Just returned from 2 weeks at the Maritimo and I cant fault it. Room was excellent, cleaned daily and even had someone inspecting the cleaning. Was a little noisy but that cant be helped with marble floors and people above. Facilities were great. 2 medium sized outdoor pools, 1 at each side of the hotel which meant sun all day.
