Esplanade Hotel

We stayed in this hotel for one night in March. I would strongly advise anybody not to stay here. The first thing that hits you as you come in the door is a smell which I could only describe as the same as that of a nursing home, we later discovered this smell was mainly in the dining room. The food itself wasn't too bad but the staff both in the restaurant and on reception were some of the rudest people I have ever met. Our room was tiny, it had a sea view but we could barely see out through the dirt on the window. The room was also freezing, there was a gale of wind blowing in through the gaps!!! All in all the hotel is run down and the staff seem demoralised, definitely wouldn't recommend it
