We had a very good time in this hotel. You must not forget it is not a 5 star hotel as we usually go to but it is good value for the money. Do not compare this hotel to some other hotels in Turkey, but enjoy the nice atmosphere, friendly service, no Russians!!! This makes a lot of difference.
We were there from Sept 22 to Sept 29 and had a good time. Very clean, no great luxury but so nice. People talked to each other, staff was friendly. Food was o.k. though a bit cheap but ok and well prepared. What we most appreciated in this hotel was the cosy atmosphere. A lot of people come there every year. It has a 'family' feeling about it. At first you might be a bit disappointed but once you are in it you enjoy it.
We would go back, you pay €500 for one week all inclusive, flight and everything included; last year we paid three times as much in Rixos Tekirova in Kemer. It was not three times better, it was more luxury but less fun.

" My husband and I recently took a two... "

My husband and I recently took a two week trip though the Greek Islands with a 3 day stopover at the Richmond Ephesus in Kusadasi. We both travel quite a bit, both for business and pleasure and are generally very easy to please, but we agree that it was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.
The rooms were just adequate, but the staff was rude to a level approaching hateful. None of the staff spoke English, somewhat expected in a "foreign" country, but no one even tried to understand anything we asked and provided absolutely no information when we checked in or during our stay.
Our room was supposed to include the dinner buffet, but after dinner, the waiter presented us with a $11 bill for drinks from the soda fountains in the room, "drinks not included in the buffet," even thought the soda and juice service was located in the middle of the buffet with no signs saying beverages were not included, and were certainly not told this (or anything else for that matter) in advance.
At the pool, we tried to get towels, none at the poolside, go inside to "towel bar" where there was no staff to assist, we chased down staff in the Spa who asked if we had purchased a "towel card" at the front desk. We gave up at that point (my husband, "I just want a damn towel!") and walked to the resort's beach, which smelled like raw sewage. We picked up some shells, and our hands smelled like sewage for hours.
All day there are all kinds of loud and obnoxious pool programs accompanied by awful music, an annoying DJ and all kinds of yelling through a tinny audio system. Most of the other guests seemed to be French and German and the rudeness of the staff was only exceeded by the other guests.
We had several more miserable experiences; too long to list in a brief review. The staff provided no information about anything, we were dazed and confused about everything during our stay. It was so awful that we left a day early at significant expense.
It was hellacious. My advice, avoid it like the plague!
