Totally relaxing
from CornishMaid30
Before booking an overnight stay at the Rudloe Hall Hotel, I checked out Trip Advisor and I have to say I wondered if all the great reviews were true. We arrived back from our stay about an hour ago and I just wanted to come online and let everyone know this hotel is just as the others reviewers say. The hotel is in a fabulous location and has extremely courteous and professional staff who also happen to be friendly and engaging. The food was quite simply lovely and we cannot fault anything about the delicious meals we had. Our...

An amazing wedding reception venue
from Claire00
We've just returned from a weekend at Rudloe where we celebrated our recent wedding in Italy! How special a venue and reception it was. The managers Sinisa and Sara were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the planning was meticulous with no detail forgotten. Several of our friends and family said it was the best wedding reception they had ever been to, that itself speaks volumes and makes us so happy that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did. The food was delicious and the children well catered for....

The wedding venue next to none!
from sparkymanwithvan
My now wife and I booked Rudloe hall for our wedding day and evening almost two years ago. What can I say, the whole day, the evening, and the Sunday (doy after) were just amazing. The location of the hotel is just fantastic, right on top of the hill almost "overlooking" Bath! The gardens are very well kept, and split into almost romantic sections where we were able to find some time for us away from our guests. The food was simply the best! I have not had a meal out that has been of the same, or indeed any where...

Perfect Wedding
from gijo
My husband and I were recently married at Rudloe Hall. We had both our ceremony and our reception there. We booked the hotel for the weekend and it was amazingly brilliant. The staff were fabulous. Aaron, Marcus and Penny really did the hotel justice. They were just brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble anything we wanted we could have whenever we wanted it. They were so attentive to our needs, yet left us to enjoy our day. The hotel was stunning/clean. We had the tower suite which was gorgeous and the views are fabulous. The...

Just right for our silver wedding
from theboxman
We are not regular hotel visitors but as it was our silver wedding I decided to treat my wife for a couple of nights staying in a country hotel. The choice of Rudloe Hall was perfect. A telephone enquirey was all it needed to confirm that this was going to be ok for our needs. The new management team of Sinisa and Sara could not do enough to help, making us feel at home and more than guests. The hotel is situated in superb grounds and the view from our room ( 7 ) was breathtaking. The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted....

Very Romantic & Intimate
from chelsea64
My husband and I have just returned from Rudloe Hall. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Upon arrival, we were courteously met and throughout our stay, always spoken to using our names - a pleasant personal touch. We booked room 9 which was absolutely stunning. The views were far reaching and, at night, you could see Bath Town Centre lit up - absolutely amazing. The room included a Four Poster bed and Victorian roll top bath - delightful. Our package included both evening meal and breakfast. When we...

friendly, relaxing, and great food
from rokki
we stayed here in room 10 for one night and had an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel restaurant the room was lovely, really quaint, with a great view over the gardens, and there was an old fashioned bath tucked away in the corner of the bedroom under the eaves! (see pic) the evening meal was fantastic, and very good value too, in a lovely setting we slept for 11 hours straight in our comfy bed which is the longest i've ever slept! the new management and staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxed and...

Disapointed
from humbert1
This hotel has great potential but is tired. No amount of bonhomie and commitment by the managers can paper over the poor state of decoration and sloppy attention to detail in the rooms . Individuality in the rooms is all well and good but the furnishings are worn out. Again with the restaurent the cooking is not good enough for the prices charged and it was the detail that let it down .Good pubs do it better.
relaxation at its best
from JAPCardiff
My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Rudloe Hall Hotel. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and the surroundings luxurious. If you are looking for the sort of weekend enjoyed by the gentry of the past without the stuffiness normally associated with this type of luxury this is the place for you. The only downside that we did find, the bed in room 7 was a little on the firm side for us, we will choose another room next time we stay and bottled water in the intimate little spa would have been nice...

Excellent wedding reception
from planetbollox
We were looking for somewhere to have a low key yet elegant wedding reception in the Bath area. We had previously enjoyed an excellent Valentines weekend here four years ago and asked for a quote. We were very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the quote was and immediately decided the venue would be perfect. We had both been previously married so did not want a 'big do' but something that would be elegant and refined without being pretentious. Sinisa, Sara and Marcus made it absolutely perfect for us. We married on tuesday 17th April....

Tired hotel in terms of rooms and service. Nothing like the WWW not in the charm, the romance or the service. Needs much TLC and service suitable for this millennium. Over priced and basic (i.e. unable to get any drinks after 2245 with no facilities in your room not even... more
