Stylish and splendid service
from 360
We stayed at The Queensberry Hotel for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary in March and arrived late on Friday evening and immediately had our car valet parked for us which was a real treat. They repeat this every time you want the car so within minutes your vehicle is ready and waiting - saves the hassle of parking in Bath which can be considerable. The room was large and had a comfortable bed, a massive bathroom with dressing gowns provided - flatscreen TV and radio in the room but no tea making facilities sadly. We were...

We were pleased with our room (a deluxe double), the staff were friendly and the location is fantastic for exploring Bath. We ate in the Olive Tree and really enjoyed the food and the service was great. If we went again we would avoid staying in room (5) as it is very close to reception and can be noisy if you are not the earliest of risers! We would also make sure that we ate in the heart of the restuarant rather than in the bar area as every time the door opened during our meal it let in a gust of freezing cold air! In summary we had a...

Fantastic
from A TripAdvisor Member
We stayed at the Queensberry Hotel for three nights in February 2006. It was absolutely lovely and as we had got married the day before, and were staying in Bath whilst holding a party to celebrate, the hotel upgraded us to their four-poster suite (with a stunning bathroom and roll-top bath in the middle). We had to delay our proper honeymoon due to family illness and asked to stay an extra night for which we didn't expect them to continue the free upgrade but they did! We did have to move to another but equally high quality suite.<br...

Best in Bath - look no further
from orange108
Do not look any further! If you are looking for the perfect sophisticated, luxurious love-nest in the city of Bath - this is it. We arrived jet-lagged from India to the most fantastic room, as big as a flat. The bed was enormous and the bedding made me feel like I was being enveloped in the softest marshmallow. Too tired to go out to eat we were brought the most perfect supper. The staff are brilliant, the place is discreet and elegant and food is superb. I've tried most of the top hotels in Bath and this one kicks the rest into...

Our Favourite Hotel
from Dan_LouNorthants_UK
In early January of this year we had our wedding reception in the Queensberry Hotel in Bath, and we cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. It is simply a stunning hotel maintained to a very high standard, with gorgeous bedrooms and luxury lounges. The customer service is exemplary and the staff always friendly. The front of house manager, Lauren made our wedding day an absolute joy, organising everything effortlessly. The Olive Tree restauurant, which is located within the hotel is also excellent. The head chef, Mark prepares very...

Great Hotel
from A TripAdvisor Member
We picked this hotel from the Tripadvisor Website and were not disappointed. It is centrally located and a short walking distance from the town centre. Valet parking was included. We booked a standard room which was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The modern mini strereo, flat screen TV and travel magazines were a nice touch. The hotel has a classic and sophisticated look and project a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also includes two tastefully decorated lounges near the lobby which were great place to relax at any...

1st class

The hotel was decorated to a very high standard, the fixtures and fittings were traditional and comfortable and recently refurbished. Mod cons available in rooms inc plasma tv. Staff were experienced, helpful and courteous. The hotel obviously makes an effort to retain good staff unlike the so many other hotels who seem to think it ok to have a high turnover of relatively inexperienced customer facing staff The restaurant is below the hotel 'The Olive Tree'. The food was exquisite, probably some of the best quality food I have had...

Excellent Hotel
from A TripAdvisor Member
This hotel may be pricey but it offers great value. Staff were unfailingly courteous and did everything possible to make out stay relaxing and comfortable. Room was marvellous is every way - spacious, tastefully decorated, warm, quiet and well equipped. Service was exemplary - with morning tidy up conducted while we were in breakfast via a discrete menas of enquiring of our room number while we were on our way to breakfast - outstanding! Car parking is arranged without fuss. Breakfast is great with a full choice available. We'll...

perfect retreat
from oscarphillips
we stayed here as part of a christmas shopping trip to Bath. We were treated like royalty - our bags carried, car parked, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely and had the little extras that you would expect of hotels in this price range such as fluffy bath robes, and the rooms were serviced twice a day including the nightly 'turn down' service. I would definately recommend eating at the Olive Tree restaurant - the nicest meal I've ever had! All in all the perfect retreat and just 5 mins walk form the shops!
Superb hotel and restaurant
from A TripAdvisor Member
A Superb hotel ,the staff are friendly and helpful. We paid £135 for one of their superior (recently refurbished) rooms. Really nicely fitted with lovely bathroom - though could have benefited from double glazing on the windows. Also no tea and coffee making facilities - why? The real jewel in the hotels crown is the Olive Tree restaurant - one of the best eating places in Bath. You get what you pay for ...its not cheap but if you want something different to the chain hotels go for this one .
