Small three storey family hotel 5 mins very slow stroll from beach and tavernas. Excellent swimming pool. Small room but comfy beds, lovely bathroom and balcony. Air -con, TV and hairdryer.
This was our first small hotel and we were not disappointed, it is family run and just near beach but away from the crowds just as you get in to the residential area in a quiet street.
We couldn’t have been made anymore welcome and I can’t find anything to gripe about. Excellent value and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it if you want peace & quiet in lovely Kos.

The people at the Theonia are the most helpful pleasant people you could hope to meet. Nothing is a problem to them and they always have time to chat about anything you want. The breakfast is Continental consisting of bread and cake, and the Theonia Hotel is only a small walk from the beaches, harbour, marina and shops.
The atmosphere at the Hotel is very relaxing and laid back, and is situated in a residential area. Mr Mylonas who owns the Hotel must be very proud of his daughter Antonia who is your first point of contact at the Hotel & their staff. Highly recommended for a holiday in May or September if you want to relax, or during the mid summer if you want lively.
And to top the lot The Caravan Taverna is only across the road from the hotel where Mr Hassan will welcome you with open arms, and serve you with reasonably priced, excellent food.

I loved this hotel and having been to Zakynthos this year (which was ok) I now really appreciate what a great time I had in Kos last year, it's definitely my favourite Greek island so far.
Antonia runs the show there (the owners daughter) and she made us feel very welcome, the room was super clean, spacious and the hotel itself is very peaceful and quiet. It's just walking distance from the town in a nice residential area. The hotel is family run and they do everything to make sure your stay is a pleasant one, they give you info on where to go, eat etc.
We had great craic with them and at the end of our stay Antonia gave us both presents to take home which was really sweet. I'm so disappointed Budget Travel aren't working with this hotel anymore, but if we have to book it independently, we will definitely be going back to this wonderful hotel on this gorgeous island.
