Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons Hotel

We spent one night at le manoir recently, and can honestly say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our room (although the "cheapest" available) was large, beautifully furnished and had its own terrace. The decanter of madeira, fresh fruit, the anniversary card from the management, the Molten Brown goodies and the classical music which awaited us, were all lovely touches which made us feel very special. We stayed here in the Eugenie room on my wife's birthday. From arrival we knew that this would be a very special place.We were met as we got out of the car and were charmingly and efficiently shown where we would be dining that evening, the patio, the gardens and our room by Ian, one of the hotel's managers. I was lucky enough to be taken here for a surprise romantic weekend away from London and had the best weekend away I have ever had. We had a room in the garden wing which had its own little private terrace, where we chose to have breakfast served. It was incredibly romantic. The room was large and beautifully furnished, with fresh fruit, flowers and water provided on arrival. The bathroom was also very large with an enormous bath tub and double shower.
