Travelodge Oxford Wheatley Hotel

Great location with restaurant pub next door, and Asda opposite. Close to M40 and Oxford. I arrived late and had a very friendly welcome and helpful staff. Room basic but very clean. Everything I needed for an overnight stay near Oxford.

I stay a lot at budget hotels on business trips, and have found the Travelodge chain getting more expensive and dropping standards all the time. I stayed at the Wheatley as a last resort, and regretted it. I was exepcting to arrive late and wanted to confirm someone would be there to let me in, but rang and rang the number of the lodge with no answer all day. Resorting to the call centre, I was told that they could not provide any help other thanm put me through to the lodge .....who were not answering teh phone. Hopeless! When I... more
