Had a great holiday, the staff are very good and try very hard to give you a good time. The activity team work very hard and the evening shows are very profesional. Went on several trips with the beach boys ask for lucky. The Jewler Sakura just up the beach gives very good value for money.

Dreadful place. Don't go. We went on a lovely tour of Sri Lanka staying at lovely hotels and ended up here. Very tatty grubby, food edible but not great. Rooms stink.
We had a great rep who upgraded us to Riverina next door. Much more civilised.

This is a hotel we have been to many times - staff always very friendly, great choice of food and plenty of it, rooms cleaned everyday and flowers put on beds in the evening.
Not suitable for anyone who wants a quiet life as animators work very hard to get you involved in activities - you don't have to join in though!!
Varied entertainment in the evenings - good efforts from the animators again to entertain you. Outside acts also brought in at various times throughout the week. Weekends can be a bit hectic when the "locals" come in for a short break but very enjoyable if you are prepared to join in with them (water polo, volleyball, etc - all very energetic).
Or you could just chill out and let them get on with enjoying themselves whilst you watch.
Lovely beach, plenty of activities. Please treat the staff right - they are only there to help you and they are only too willing to do so if you treat them right and speak to them civilly - they all work so hard to please.

PLEASE GO....GREAT HOLIDAY.
Went to Club Palm Gardens for our honeymoon and was really looking forward to spending time in this lovely place. We were not disapointed we really enjoyed the weather was gorgous, staff so friendly I still keep in touch with one member. They are so friendly and will do anything for you and even more so for a small tip!
The staff in the gift shop in the hotel are so friendly and would get you anything the next day if you needed it. We forgot nail clippers and asked if they had any? They didnt but said they would get us some and sure enough we went the next day and they remembered us and presented us with a pair of nail clippers for a small charge. So friendly.
The food was lovely but a bit repeatative however what do you expect on a two week stay all inclusive. However get ready for seing the staff members eating curry for breakfast....We didnt manage that the currys are very hot!
The 'boys' on the beach are very friendly and most of them will leave you alone if you say no nicely....they are only trying to make abit of money.
We found the room very nice and clean the men cleaning the room were lovely and arranged flowers on the bed everyday not just a honeymoon perk, everyone gets it.
The pool boys were very helpful when my husband and myself caught the sun they then offered to put us on some aloe vera (fresh from the plant).
We would love to go back don't need much money we found as there is not as much to spend it on.
Went to the elephant orphange and the release turtles very good. Boat trip was boring we found and too hot to manage to sit on a boat looking for birds!!!!
Would recommend The Golden Grill resterant went with friend we met at the hotel. Lovely meals and the milkshakes are to die for! The reception you get from the staff are great and when ever a sizzling steak is brought out they turned out the lights. Much better than the other resterant (cant remember the name of it) that people recommend was not anywhere near as nice....milkshakes were warm YUCK!
The tuc tuc rides are great if you like a bit of a hair raising time!!!
A MUST GO FOR ANY HOLIDAY MAKER....WE WANT TO GO BACK.
