We had a fab holiday back in May. Really nice people and lovely hotel. Only complaint the rooms were a little small and we kept banging our legs on the bed!! Apart from this couldn't fault it. The area was good, apart from a little road noise.
Within good walking distance to the local Taverna's and pubs.

We went as 3 couples on the 13/6/07. Firstly the resort and hotel are great. You have to go through the back of the hotel to get to town. Don't make the mistake of using the front entrance as it will take 45 minutes to get to the harbour. One warning please check all cupboards before you leave as the maids were hiding clothes right at back of the wardrobes in two out of 3 of our rooms, in the hope that when you leave you will forget them. We did report this to Kayleigh our resort rep but she said there was nothing she could do. The harbour is stunning and make an effort to eat in Jacksons overlooking the beach and also El Paso Mexican. We all enjoyed as the resort was suitable for couples and families with teenagers.

This hotel is clean but needs refurbishing badly. One day I saw a rat running there, certainly not the place to go with your kids.
The staff are as friendly as any staff in a hotel, but it cannot make up for the very busy motorway right next to the hotel, which will give you and especially your kids sleepless nights.
The food could be ok if there were more variety, after three days of eating the same breakfast it gets really dreadful to eat the same.
The picture of the swimming pool is splendid, but when you actually see the pool, it is rather small and there is nothing to enjoy about it.
The walk to the sea is quite long and it takes quite a few roads to cross. I hardly would give this hotel 3 stars, for all their attempts to comply with the standards, it is really not up to these standards.

Well too top all the bad comments the hotel is fantastic the rooms are an adequate size and plenty for two people sharing. It’s in a fabulous location and a short distance walk to the shops where you will find everything you need.
The staff that work in the hotel are some of the most friendly people you will ever come across. If you’re not satisfied with this superb little hotel then you can’t be pleased with anything.
Also with all the excursions from the hotel are great and the trip to turkey is amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, that wants good food and lots of sun and a great time.

Myself and 2 friends stayed for a week here and absolutely loved it. The rooms were large we stayed in a 2 bed apartment and although we were in the basement it was spacious clean and quiet.
The staff were lovely. Manager Deietrious, Bargirl Julie couldnt have been more friendly
and helpful. We stay mostly in Spain but will definitely return to this resort and these apartments we felt very safe and had an absolute ball.
Would recommend for couples and groups. Thanks again to all at Anastasia.

After reading everyone's comments on the hotel my partner and I were slightly worried, however DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THEM!!
We had a main road hotel room that was not noisy at all! We hardly even noticed the traffic noise. Either that or we are just heavy sleepers but the amount that this is played up with bad reviews is unfair on the hotel!
The rooms are cosy but then again the hotel is not the Ritz!? The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned daily and to a very high standard with a large amount of flexibility as to when you had to leave your room in the morning for this to be done. The bathroom was good, I have personally stayed in alot worse! The shower was attached to the wall and I had a clean shower curtain and the bathroom acts as one large wet room which is standard for many hotels in Greece.
The staff were amazing and went out of their way continually to make you feel welcomed and enjoy your self, they will do what ever they can do for this! We did not have a problem getting sun beds the pool is shaded over towards the later afternoon but the beach is a 5 min walk away if you really want a tan that badly.
Overall the holiday was superb with the hotel being in an excellent location to everywhere with restaurants, bars and the beach 5 mins away what more could you ask for? Thank you very much Anastasia for a brilliant holiday I will remember!!

Mar 2006, Miss N M

If you are considering going to the Anastasia Hotel, then don't!! My 3 friends and I were given the two worst hotel rooms I have ever seen! The room was so small and the toilet was horrific, the shower was not a shower. We had to hold the shower head to get washed, the curtain was moldy and smelly and the toilet was so bad that we very rarely used it. Two girls in a tiny room for 2 weeks was too much!!
The breakfast was basically cheap ham, cheese and surprisingly nice bread!! The pool is nice, the pool area is very cramped and unless you are up at 6am to get a good sun lounger, you have no chance of getting one!!
The staff are nice and helpful and our rep Stuart was fantastic! The location itself is ideal, close by to plenty of bars and within walking distance to the lively part (Bar Street). There is a mini market and internet cafe almost next door. My hotel room overlooked the pool, but my friend’s room was on a noisy road and they were not happy at all.
I would never go back to the Anastasia Hotel, I wouldn’t even risk going to the apartments although they did seem lovely! Be warned.....do not go!!!!

Sep 2005, Mr T Sagdahl

Avoid Anastasia Hotel!
We booked a 2 week holiday with Olympic Holidays and ended up with the hotel room from hell.
The room was tiny. Cleaned on a daily basis with long black hairs included. The bathroom was so tiny that my fat friend would not have been able to use it. There was no holder for the shower, so you had to stand and hold it yourself, whilst the moulded shower-curtain stuck to your body like a bad smell.
The room we were given was facing one of Kos most noisy and busy roads, so even if the bed hadn’t been so hard and the pillow so bumpy, we wouldn’t have slept much anyway.
Staff were actually very friendly and the bread at breakfast not bad, Anastasia hotel is too run down and rooms too small. Other guest we spoke to repeated our concerns.

I booked up late for this holiday and it was accommodation on arrival, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Anastasia hotel.
The room was very clean and quite spacious. The staff were very friendly and the cleaners did a good job. Linen was changed every other day and towel were changed twice a week.
The pool and the pool area was keep very clean.
There was no entertainment in the hotel but you don’t have to go far to find plenty of bars and clubs.
I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and families.
