Premier Apartments Nottingham

I recenetly stayed here with my boyfriend and 2 friends. We had picked Premier Apartments as we liked the idea of having our own flat to stay in as we were in Nottingham for the weekend. We thought it would give us a nice amount of space to get ready, have a few drinks all together, be able to cook our own food…etc.
Firstly, the car park is under the building and secure. You get given the code to access the gate, and the parking area is right next to the stairs for reception which was all quite a welcomed relief after a 2 hour journey. The hotel itself is also extremely easy to find due to its central location.
The receptionist was very polite, helpful and friendly and had us signed in nice and quickly.
The lift (the only issue during our whole stay) stated only 4 persons at a time (This being on a sticker over the built in plaque stating 680 kg). There were 4 of us with our luggage, so we thought we could all cram into the rather small (and only) lift. It was a bad idea. Although the fire brigade were with us within 10 minutes to release us, it was then a bit of a pain to have to carry all our luggage up to the 7th floor. We weren’t left to struggle though, the caretaker did offer to do it for us which I thought was very nice of him. The lift went on to break down a further 3 times over the course of the weekend, sadly, we believed it to just be a very cheap lift. Though they would call the engineer immediately to fix it, so you were never left long without it. (Best bit of advise- don't take too much weight in the lift with you.)
Once we’d reached our apartment, we were able to forget all about the fireman rescue. The space was well managed and the lay out of the apartment meant it was spacious and open. The kitchen was modern and new looking, with a convienient glass topped breakfast bar with 2 high stools. The kitchen was fitted with all utensils (although we did take paper plates and such to save washing up!) The living area had a large coffee table, and a sofa and arm chair- both of which were big, comfy and snug. Floor to ceiling windows allowed for maximum light and the French sliding door was a nice touch. The TV with Freeview and the decent CD player also came in handy.
The bedroom was sectioned off allowing for privacy, but a frosted window to the living room meant it was kept light so we didn’t always have to have the lights switched on.
The bathroom was also a fair size with modern touches, and the shower wasn’t the usual weak, water dripping rubbish you worry about getting stuck with.
There was also more than adequate storage space too, with a large built in wardrobe (fitted with a free safe) in the bedroom and a further boiler room in the hallway by the front door.
All in all, Premier Appartments were an absolute gem of a find. They’re situated in the middle of Nottingham City centre, right next to the Ice Rink, within walking distance (and I mean a brief stroll, not a mile hike) of the shopping area, restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs. Don’t think this means it’s in a noisy location though- it really isn’t. In your apartments you can’t even hear the traffic on the road.
Premier Apartments are clean, well managed and really are like staying in a home away from home (providing your home is a modern, fully equipped apartment with a stunning city view!)
I would suggest a stay at Premier Apartments to anyone- from now on if I visit any town/ city that’s home to a Premier Apartment I will be staying there. Staying in a normal hotel really just won’t feel the same again!!
