I stayed in the Travelodge in Nottingham Central and was very disappointed with the service I received. I returned to my room in the evening to find that my key card was not working. I complained to reception but they claim that nothing could be done until the morning.
As a result I was left without any of my luggage or personal belongings until the next afternoon. The manager was difficult to get hold of and when we did speak to him he was rude and unhelpful. The maintenance man who eventually came to resolve the situation smelt like he had been drinking alcohol and it took him several attempts to unlock the door.
I would never come back to this Travelodge and would not recommend it to others. The rooms maybe fairly cheap but the extra hassle is just not worth it!
