Too Hot to Sleep here !!!!!!!!!!
Good location right by Moorfields Station (one stop from Lime Street )so don't need to get an expensive taxi. General area around hotel very run down. Don't go here out of choice in the hot weather as you will not sleep too well at all - it is impossible to cool rooms down. Get a room on the back & high (3rd/4th Floor) as front rooms on road are noisy. Make sure you take your booking confirmation with you as it seems they have problems if you have not booked direct with hotel (and computer was down quite a lot it seemed!!)
school tour made enjoyable
Stayed in the hotel while on a school football tour at the start of the year and have to say has a very enjoyable stay. Rooms were nice and clean and the staff were all polite and helpful. Used to stay in another local hotel the 'G' (wont mention the actual name), which was certainly not as good. Will definately stay here again and will hopefully be able to book in for next years trip. From all the staff and pupils I would like to thank the hotel for their hospitality. There was only one fault in that there was no where close by to park... more
Busy busy
Thought we'd walk from Lime Street - no one seemed to know where the street was, even the local police! Checked in ok, however, offered a smoking room and because of Grand National there was no alternative. Rooms ok - no toilet paper though! Ate in hotel 1st night due to heavy rain outside..SLOOOOOOW service, we had to chase meal twice. When it did come it was fantastic, for some reason though we were not allowed to put it on the room tab, and had to pay there & then. Hotel right beside all the nightlife, but, far... more
Great overnight stay
Stayed overnight here and couldn't really fault it. Great value, comfortable room with nice bathroom and powerful shower. Really handy for Liverpool City Centre. Would definately stay here again.
excellent hotel, superb location
Stayed her with 5 others lads for soccer weekend and what value for money. Rooms spotless, tv, electric kettle, hairdryer etc. Breakfast more than adequate with a decent choice of evening meals too. It's location is spot on with a huge variely of smashing pubs and nightlife all within 5 mins walk. Liverpool itself would have to be one of the friendliest cities that I've ever been to!! I would have no hesitation in staying here if/when I return.
Great hotel - Recommended
I have now stayed at this hotel 3 times and every time it does not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, reception staff are really friendly and courteous and the bar area is lovely. All this for only £52 per night and only a couple of minutes walk from the City Centre. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

great hotel for cheap price. stayed here on a weekend in april while going to football match. lovely restraunt and pub downstairs. u can walk to town centre in ten minutes. room are sacious clean and have all you can want. tv, tea coffee maker hairdryer and big bathroom. the staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast is extra but its worth it. i have no complaints about it. it was great location and clean and bus goes right by to the airport. if you want a good cheap hotel thats safe stay here!
Perfect budget hotel
We were had a wedding at the Crowne Plaza but wanted to stay at a cheaper hotel the night before . We were really pleased with our choice. It was £52 and was just as good as the Crowne Plaza at £100 per night. The location is central , the street it is situated on isn't the nicest (we arrived on foot at night ) but it wasn't a problem. The rooms are basic and clean, if we hadn't already booked the Crowne Plaza we would have been happy to stay at the Travel Inn for a second night.
Too Hot but Nice Hotel
The place was really nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and we really liked the room. We weren't expeecdting much but we liked the whole hotel including the bar and breakfast. The only problem we did have was that the room temperature was 27 degrees which was hotter than outside. We tried opening the window but found the noice from the city too loud. Therefore we suffered with lack of sleep. We did have a desk fan to cool us but it was still very hot. I really liked the city and would visit again, I also liked the hotel but... more
