We booked to stay at this hotel as a last minuite thing for easter bank holiday weekend. There was limited availability in Liverpool and they had one double room for 2 nights (Sat and Sun) for £120.
We arrived at the hotel fairly easily. It is situated on the docks, about 10 minuites walk from the Beatles tour. You can't miss the hotel,. there is a MASSIVE casino next door.
We booked in to the hotel, we were on the 1st floor (no lift). 1st impressions were that the hotel was clean. Small bar/resturant, information stand in reception. Went to room.
Opened the door and my partner and i didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Room consisted off....
One (double???) bed.
One wardrobe (no door)
One piece of wood as a desk with one chair.
No Double glazing.
No room to move.
One Towel.
Bathroom....it was an all in one piece caravan suite.... a toilet that you couldn't shut the door if you sat on it. A shower that when you stood in it the curtain was basically in your face. (i am a size 10 and i felt clausrophobic). Honestly i has read reviews on the hotel and people said it was small but seriously, i can't believe they can call it a bathroom. Half a toilet roll included in the price.
We went downstairs and cancelled the second night. Reception staff didn't seem in the least bit surprised.
2.30 am- people screaming and fighting in the room next to us. Couldn't call down to reception as there was no phone and i was honestly too scared to walk out of the room.
Next morning we checked out and i asked the reception staff if there was any security officers. They said 2 but apparantly someone has jumped in the docks so they were both outside. No apologies, nothing.
Absolute joke. Please do not stay at this hotel...you have been warned!!!!!

We stayed a the Dolby and found it not really clean with a shower in a cupboad experience. So far so good , until 2.30 when the revelers return the place literally vibtrates with slamming doors people shouting girls trying to sing (no X factor there then), we were even given a strip show as one girl totally naked ran from th hotel to the central reservation of the road outside then backinto the hotel. But where else can you get this kind of entertainment on a Saturday night for £42. Its cheap you can put up with it for a short time and all in all you get what you pay for plus free entertainment, could be the plot for a new TV show!
