Stutelea Hotel & Leisure Club

We booked into the Stutelea Hotel through the internet a couple of weeks before a celebration meal for Chinese New Year.
By some miracle we had managed to book a room over the net that was no longer available, but thankfully the hotel phoned us straight away to tell us of the problem.
They also came up with a solution and offered us a discount.
The hotel was very clean (the decor was a little old fashioned) and the staff were very friendly. Our only real gripe was that we thought the rooms were a little pricey.
Since the demise of the local fairground, Southport appears to be a resort that's slowly dying. Surely the way to get tourists back breathing new life into the place would be to keep prices as low as possible?
The hotel is closer to local amenities than it first appears (just ask reception the way to were you want to go) and the breakfast was scrumptious!
If you need to book a hotel in Southport you could do far worse than the Stutelea!
