My husband and I visited Rome on a three night city break in early January 2005, with two other couples, and stayed in this four star hotel.
We had requested standard rooms, but had been upgraded free of charge to superior rooms on arrival. The rooms were spacious and modern, with very comfortable beds and clean, well-proportioned bathrooms. We found the hotel very conveniently situated for sightseeing, just a short walk to the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable, though unexciting.
The hotel bar was very quiet, which was a shame, as we like to have a drink when we return from our evening meal, and there was a lack of atmosphere. All staff were pleasant and helpful, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anybody wanting to book a city break in Rome.
