This was not the hotel that we chose from Expedia but when we arrived we were told they had overbooked and we were being transferred to Hetel Kampa.
We were pleasantly surprised. A quite spacious hotel down a very quiet back street. We had 2 twin rooms that were big and had plenty of furniture. We had been warned about small beds in Prague, but these were larger than normal single beds and comfy with it. Maid service was efficient and left new toiletries and a chocolate on the pillow each nice - a nice touch!
The shower rooms were quite small but enough for a short stay. One downside might be that the walls were quite thin and we could hear the alarm clocks in the room next door.
We had breakfast every morning, a delightful spread, a mix of American and continental with everything from cereal, fruit, yogurts, breads, preserves, ham, cheese, and hot eggs and bacon. Was plenty to have a huge breakfast so no need for lunch!
The concierges were friendly and helpful and the location was great, just off the beaten track enough to be quiet but within a good distance of the attractions.
A great place, I'd certainly return there.
