We have been to Benidorm many times and this is worst hotel we have been too let me explain ! Food and location is good short walk to all the nightlife which we love but this hotel in September was full of spanish pensioners on a free holiday paid by the spanish goverment we were on third floor room 315 but had to wait up to half hour for the lifts !! For corridors public toilets in hotel you have to use your room card yes its true still cannot believe it !!?? The mens toilet in reception was cleaned early morning and never again that day the gel hadnt been filled up in 11 days while we were there ! Give this hotel a miss and stay at the smaller Ruidor or Presidente or the new Riviera all lovely hotels without these problems !! Cheers Mike and Sue

I am a single person and I stayed at the Pueblo for 7 weeks 20thDec to Feb 7th 2009 My stay was exellant and I couldn't have wished for a better hotel it is 3 stars but in my opinion it should be 4 or5 The reception staff were very good some of the staff spoke Spanish but even these spoke a smattering of English and they all went out of their way to help you. The food in the resturant was exellant plus so much varieties the mind boggled what to choose the staff were mainly Spanish there work was first class always there to please the quests. The hotel is so central tenminutes to the promonade and beach 5minutes walk to the open market 10 min walk to the indoor market sourounded by Cafes Gift shops bingo Sing a long bars. The bedrooms were very good although a little small they were thermastat cntrolled clean towels and bed lining every day staff cheerful and helpful Very close to my room in the annexe was the heated pool. The Thompson Rep Christina where I booked my choach trips out she was exellant mant people I spoke to had the same opion Thompsons moved her on before I left it was a sad day for me and others I have already planned to come back in April or May for another 7 weeks and at christmas Iwould like to stay for 3 months Just 1 little fault I wish there could have been some English tune for the dancing Jean

My friend and I stayed at this hotel in September 2007 for 10 nights.
We had a terrific time and have booked to go back again September 2008.
I found all the staff to be pleasant and helpful except the Restaurant staff.
The rooms are small and basic, but spotlessly clean, there is limited wardrobe space and no drawers.
The bathrooms have a shower only and are the tiniest bathrooms I have ever seen and have no bidet.
We were on the 16th floor and sometimes there was a sewage smell in the bathroom.
We have opted for single rooms this year as these seem to be hardly any smaller, they have a double bed so i'm presuming they are classed as doubles.
The sunbed scramble is still in force and there are definitely not enough for the number of guests that stay there.
That's the worst things I can think off, so now for the best.
Locationwise it's excellent, just 5 mins walk away from all the clubs and pubs yet still in a quiet enough area not to disturb your sleep.
The restaurant is a bit chaotic and the waiters tend to clear your table before you have actually finished your meal, but on the whole the food was good.
We stayed full board for 10 days and always found something to eat, I even found myself trying foods I don't normally eat and thoroughly enjoying it.
There is always a couple of pasta dishes and a huge amount of fruit and salad.
It does cater mainly for the Spanish, but that isn't a problem for me, after all we are in Spain.
The daytime entertainment was fantastic and there was always something going on.
Jose, Elliot, Jill & Denny work really hard at keeping the guests entertained.
The first 5 days of our holiday we noticed that most of the guests were Spanish and most spoke very little English, but this just added to the fun as we tried to communicate through the odd word and plenty of hand signals.
The remainder of the holiday there seemed to be an even number of guests and we had some great rivalry when playing the games.
It just takes a bit of effort from both nationalities and it's easy to form friendships.
By the time we left a crowd gathered to see us off and we were amazed that both the English and the Spanish came to say their goodbyes.
The nightly entertainment was mainly geared towards the Spanish, but we joined in and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The budget seems limited and as there are only four members of the entertainment crew it wasn't the most riveting entertainment, but i'll give them 10/10 for effort.
I just wish they could have added half an hour of dance music at the end of the evening as it would have made all the difference.
Mind you if you want entertainment then there is as much as you need just 5 mins away.
I liked the mix of Spanish & English
Overall we had a terrific time and can't wait to meet up again with friends both Spanish and English when we go again this September

I have just returned from the Hotel Pueblo Bernidorm where I spent 10 days with my son and two grandchildren. The hotel is excellent and we found that all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was brilliant and there was a good selection every day, breakfast was particularly good and my grandson liked the fact that he could have pancakes every day if he wanted them. The rooms were kept clean and tidy and the towels were changed every day the ladies doing the room were very good. The four pools were always very clean but you had to get up early to 'bag' your sunbed or you didn't get one. Although there were plenty around many people were putting towels on them and going off for hours at a time and coming back in the afternoon. The eveing entertainment was very good, not totally 'professional' but good fun and the childrens disco at the end of the evening was brilliant.
Overall the hotel and the facilities were excellent and we will certainy be going back.

I thought the hotel was lovely, but as for a wheelchair user with spina bifida I found the first room we were allocated much too small.
I was unable to move around and I couldn't use the bathroom as the door wasn’t wide enough for me to get into the bathroom itself i.e. washing and cleaning teeth and using the toilet, so we exchanged to another room and that was much better for me to move around in.
But there was still the problem of the bathroom as it had the same problem, the door was still not wide enough for me to get into the bathroom was still much too small for my wheelchair. So my partner for the first couple of days had to lift me from my wheelchair and on to the toilet but as he is suffering from a heart condition, this wasn’t good to keep doing and so on the hotel campsite I found a disabled toilet was great news for me.
I would of thought that the hotel would of made the bathrooms more accessible in the rooms as well on the hotel grounds, as they say they are wheelchair accessible that was my only problem.
I thought the staff were lovely and the food was lovely I wished they put more Spanish food on, as I like trying different foods other than English.
I didn’t know that there was a Holidaywatchdog submit a holiday review, otherwise I would of done it when I got back.

We went on a family holiday; myself three kids and my mum & dad for the first time together.
Don’t get me wrong Benidorm was great, shame about the hotel. The food selection was terrible, it was mostly fish or pork dishes, which were all very greasy, also there was nothing for the kids. On one occasion me, two of my kids and my mum all ended up with diarrhoea, my son was also as sick as a dog, we had all ate the ice cream & the cream topping the night before which with in seconds it had turned like milk.
As for the entertainment it was absolute rubbish, in one lounge you had bingo at 9.30 where the tickets were overpriced considering the gifts you had to chose from, after that there was a 45-minute entertainment then by 12.00am it was closed.
Then you had the other lounge which was so depressing; same thing every night Jose & Maria singing and then all the oldies dancing that finished at 12.30am the bar was also really expensive. So if you had wee ones with you then you had no option but to go to bed cause having a buggy with you made it very difficult to get a seat in other bars.
Also on a few occasions the air conditioning was also broken, we also had an infestation of ants in our rooms; it's understandable that in hot countries there will always be insects but surely not that much! They had got into my daughter's bed on one occasion.
It also felt like an old folks home the amount of old people was mad cause when my mum went to book the holiday she was told it was a good family hotel so people beware don’t listen to the travel agents before you go away look it up yourself so you don’t feel disappointed.

Went to the pueblo with my friend for a short girlie break without the kids. We were very disappointed with this hotel. The hotels only good point is that it is spotlessly clean the maids do a great job and are the only members of staff that even smiled during our 4 night stay, now to get to the bad points!
Room was very small, bathroom door and bath were even half size, smallest hotel room i have ever been in, and balcony was also tiny.
Food was average Spanish buffet, never had to queue to get in but the layout was a bit haphazard.
You can’t get a sun lounger at the very noisy poolside unless you are up before sunrise to put down a towel.
Benidorm is definitely an acquired taste and wouldn’t suit everybody, it's high-rise all the way and can be quite seedy at night depending on where you go. I certainly wouldn't take my kids to that area of Benidorm although the old town is nice in the evening and the beach was lovely and very clean.
All in all I wouldn't go back to Benidorm in a hurry and would give the pueblo Benidorm a wide berth.

Location of hotel is good, not far from beach and all the main bars.
We were in one of the annexe blocks, rooms very basic but ok for your needs of showering and sleeping, as long as you don’t have any stag or hen parties near you. We only had one night of noise when we arrived, then after that security guards were in force.
Not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel, but if you’re like us and enjoy the beach the water is shallow and clean like the sand, plus always a nice breeze from the sea.
Our maid was good room cleaned every day with fresh towels.
Food was good always had a selection to choose from hot or cold.
We didn’t stay in for the entertainment but quite a few did, we preferred to venture out and sample the bars ranging from quiet to cabaret plus the promenade at night is a good walk to do.
We would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will be revisiting it again soon in the future.

Have just come back from my hen weekend stay in the Hotel Pueblo Benidorm! What a superb hotel!
Very clean and the staff couldn’t do enough to help you! Didn’t want to come home! Can’t wait to go back again next year! Will definitely be staying in the Hotel Pueblo Benidorm!
The food was ok! Breakfast being the best meal for me! Although I am a very fussy eater and the rest of my group seemed to enjoy it!
The pools were great! There was no noise at all throughout the night unless you were on the 13th floor with my hen party! Sorry if we upset anyone!!
Will recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Benidorm!

Have just returned from a weeks Easter break with the children. All appeared well on arrival with the reception staff being friendly and helpful.
The room was a little more basic than we are used to but it was clean.
The restaurant left a lot to be desired and it is the first time I have had to set my own table on holiday!
The food was pretty bland and we struggled to get the children to eat anything at all, there was a distinct lack of vegetables and oddly there were chips served at breakfast.
My children were banned from having them even though they pleaded! We were on a half board basis but ate out on 3 occasions and skipped dinner another time.
I found the other guests in the block we were staying in very discourteous. There was banging, shouting and general noise at all hours. The noise from outside the hotel was as bad.
The weather was poor and the whole family contracted diarrhoea and vomiting.
I found Benidorm on the whole very disappointing and will not be returning.
My 9 year old son said the holiday was ok apart from the weather, the food and the hotel. He made me promise never to book 3 stars again!
Thank God we have a holiday to Benalmadena to look forward to in August because if that had have been my main holiday, I would have been very upset.

Stayed at the pueblo Benidorm at the end of Sept, Our Room was very clean, But every now and then there was a terrible smell of sewage We stayed in the annexe in room 5001, it is a ground floor apt,and we discovered as the week went on that just to the right of the balcony area a hole in which sewage was coming up we reported it a few times through the week, Kept saying they were sorting it,but they never did. Didn't go out there much as it was very off putting as you can imagine! The room was fine for 3 adults ,but the bathrom althuogh very nice was abit on the small side, no Bath and no bidet, but quite alarge shower. The pool area was lovely and clean and plenty of sunbeds. The staff at reception were very nice and could understand everything you said. The staff in the restaurant were not as pleasnt and one or two were downright rude.We didn't think much of the menu one night they had tripe and pigs trotters on it, not to my liking at all ! But you could make a meal even if it was a cheese roll some nights . It was really central which I liked as not too much walking to go out in the nights, and not too far from the beach . I would go there again, but I would ask not to be put into Room 5001 again.
