U Karlova Mostu Hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights in November at a total cost of £133 for the stay. The hotel seems to go under several names as we have also seen it advertised as "Na Kampe 15" and "the house at Charles Bridge"
The hotel is in a brilliant location, set in a quiet square right next to Charles Bridge.
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who spoke good English, we were given our room key and advised about breakfast etc. I think we had room 26, as it's a very old building there was not a lift - not a problem for us as we are young and fit! but if you have problems with stairs it may not be the hotel for you.
We booked ourselves through the internet, the site showed a few of the rooms, we were lucky enough to get one of the ones shown. We had a large room in the loft area, unfortunately it looked out over the square and not Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included however it was not the greatest I have ever tasted. Our room was rather cold, we did have air conditioning, but we couldn't work out how to get it to blow hot air, oh well it just meant we had to cuddle up!!
We would really recommend this hotel, especially to romantic couples as the setting really is gorgeous. Prague itself is beautiful and somewhere we have visited on several occasions, it's just a shame it appears to have been taken over at weekends by so many stag and hen parties.
Our top tip would be to visit a jazz club "Agartha's" was great it's in an underground cavern - as most of Prague is. Also try out restaurant's you wouldn't normally visit, we stumbled on a place which was great, really cheap and excellent traditional food, the prefect end to a great few days away.
