Lovely hotel & staff. Brilliant location. Quiet, comfortable & nicely restored. Check which room you are in if you are tall. All beds have foot boards but some are better than others (if you are tall). Otherwise very comfortable. Bathrooms well equipped.
Small lift which doesn't go to top floor so if mobility is important issue, check which floor you are placed on. If a view is important, ask to overlook Tyn Square. Only downside is breakfast. Mainly cold continental type. They are catering for many tastes and each morning there was a different choice - most of which quite disappointing.
There is a cafe within 20 yards though that do the full range if you like a cooked breakfast. Would definitely come to this hotel again.
