Basic, clean, but very good location! Staff very friendly and breakfasts excellent!
Been twice purely because of Location. Shame about 90's decor in rooms, although reception area modern and again staff very helpful.

Husband, sister and I stayed at this hotel for three nights from 14 May.
Our rooms, one twin and one single were on the top, fifth floor and were very clean and spacious with hair dryer, TV, Telephone, air con, free room safe, reasonable priced mini bar and plenty of lovely clean white towels.
If you required toiletries this was available from reception. Our bathroom was very spacious with large shower only and comfortable basket chair!
Also available in the reception lounge was a free tea and coffee machine and a reasonably priced refridged drinks cabinet with glasses, ice etc.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful and buffet breakfast was more than adequate for us.
Hotel is situated very close to centre of Prague. At hotel door turn left and five minutes takes you to Charles Bridge, turn right and about 10 minutes takes you to Old Town Square etc.
Large restaurant and bar across the street and to your left for a few yards on same side as hotel is the Euro Orient Bar with very pleasant helpful bar owner selling very reasonably priced drinks, etc.
We wouldn't normally have gone into this bar (due to age etc) but had previously read good reviews on other web sites and very pleased we did go in. We also had dinner at the nearby Stoletti restaurant across the road and to the left which we also thoroughly enjoyed.
We booked our flights with Flyglobespan and hotel with Octpus.com and would have no hesitation in recommending this very clean comfortable hotel.

We went to Prague Mon 15th -Fri 19th Oct 2007.
The hotel is in an ideal location about 5-10 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge, Wenclesles Square, and the old town square. It's location is a little bit out the way but you shouldn't let that put you off as it's so easy to walk to all the main sights within the city.
The room was spacious, basic but decorated well. Clean and tidy with a tv, mini fridge and free room safe. The bathroom looked new and again was cleaned well with everything in working order.
Breakfast was a continental buffet, which suited us fine; cereals, bread/toast, fruit etc. and they also had scrambled eggs or boiled eggs with frankfurter sausages.
Reception was very friendly and happy to help with any enquiries we had.
At the time we booked it was the cheapest place we could find close to the centre of Prague that looked respectable. We'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay over the odds for somewhere centrally located.
One thing we would also recommend is take a map of the city as it's not the easiest place to find your way around especially in your first day or two but in all a great place to visit.
