Another great night at Didsbury
from MossyCardiff
Having stayed at the sister hotel Didsbury House (and finding it wonderful), I was a bit concerned about the reviews on here of Eleven Didsbury Park. I didnt need to worry, we were warmly greeted by a lovely member of staff who showed us around and then showed us to the room. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean, with all the bits you expect from this boutique chain. Had a great night sleep in the very large and comfy bed, and the best bit is that breakfast is served until 1pm, and they even said if we couldnt make...

A disgrace
from ABC1973
This was an incredibly over-priced and disappointing hotel. We were due to stay for two nights but cut our visit short after a series of problems. The room was tiny. There was an over-whelming stench of urine. The staff were rude and highly incompetent. When we opened the skylight to get rid of the smell of urine, we were treated to the whiff of a drain just outside. All this for the bargain price of 150 pounds per night. (breakfast NOT included). But that was still not enough to qualify us for the use of a DVD player. When we...

Could do much better
from EW2R
This was our second stay at this hotel. It's a lovely building & good location, but the service this time was very offhand. It would be nice to be shown to the room, especially as ours was not that easy to locate. The hotel literature claims that all rooms have blackout curtains or blinds; ours had white shutters - not great if you want a lie-in. It also claims huge baths - ours was minute, with the addition of an internal bathroom fan which roared like a jet engine & took ages to switch off, and no alternative lighting to avoid using...

Poor value for money!
from JCorr
My husband and I stayed here for one night on the recommendation of a friend. Why on earth she recommended it I have no idea. Wanting to treat my husband to a nice weekend away I booked a 'villa room' at a pricey £155 a night (without breakfast). The "villa" which was described as having 'high ceilings' and 'Victorian features' on the hotel website turned out to be a small, drab room with a very basic bathroom. To make matters worse our queen-sized bed turned out to be two singles pushed together! The only windows in the room were...

OK But....
from CAFH
We stayed for one night on our weeks holiday discovering Northern England, the house and garden are faultless but we were amazed to have been charged £25 for our 7 year olds camp bed! having stayed the previous week in hotels that had not charged us. Items on the breakfast menu were not available, why have them on the menu! Just small things that could turn a good hotel into a better one.
Lovely little hideaway
from Kimmy_bos
My partner and I stayed at this hotel last weekend 29/07 as he had broken his elbow and we felt like a little treat to help him on the healing road. The hotel was very elegant and I absolutely loved the two seperate living areas complete with chess, cards and board games. We got a late deal through the hotel website which was very competitve. We stayed in room eleven which was close to the main entrance and a little noisy, also there was no air con but apart from that the hotel was beatiful
Good hotel but not great value for money
from Lucy_and_alex
My husband and I stayed here for two nights in room number 10. The decore was beautiful, straight out of a design magazine, but other than this the hotel was nothing special. My husband booked this at the last minute and even getting the room at a discounted rate we feel it wasn't really worth the price. Especially as it doesn't inclue breakfast and they wanted the charge an extra £14 per person! The mini bar was also way over priced with half a bottle of wine being £10 and a packet of crisps £1.50! If you find yourself needing the...

Thoroughly enjoyable stay!
from ChloeFields
I stayed at Eleven Didsbury Park following a recommendation from a colleague and was very impressed. The place was immaculate and superbly decorated! From the moment I arrived the staff were so friendly and polite, unlike a lot of hotels I have stayed at! The room was better that I had expected, very classy and modern and the huge bed was so confortable! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others
a little disappointing
from p750777
I stayed at 11 Didsbury for one night on business to attend a meeting at the nearby business par. The location is ideal if you are visiting the business park or Didsbury and the best option in the area - the other options being the airport or city centre manchester. 11 Didsbury looked nice from the outside but the room I was allocated (number 12) was on the ground flor off the entrace hall so was noisy and was not air conditioned meaning a poor nights sleep in the currenthot sunny weather. The bar is very expensive but there is a nice...

A little disappointed
from A TripAdvisor Member
I have just returned from spending a Saturday night at Eleven Didsbury Park. Having previously stayed at its sister hotel, The Didsbury House, I was really looking forward to renewing my aqaintance with this small "eclectic" chain and arranged for a night away which would also take in a meal at The Lime Tree in West Didsbury. I made the booking through late rooms and must admit received a very competitive rate for one of their "villa rooms" which are described as "large contemporary". The room we were allocated (no.24) however could in...
