We stayed at the Hotel Regno for a weekend break as a 50th birthday celebration for my husband, staying from Friday to Tuesday. The reception is a little cramped to say the least, but the staff were very friendly and spoke very good English, which was a relief as we speak no Italian
Our room was a really good size with a bathroom and separate toilet we had a small balcony overlooking the main street, with air con and very comfortable beds
The hotel is very narrow, only a few rooms on a number of floors; the dining room/breakfast conservatory being on the first floor. A very acceptable fresh continental breakfast was served by efficient staff, including strong coffee with a jug of warm milk!
The location could not be better, very central and within walking distance of all attractions. We only caught the efficient clean bus to St Paul’s and The Vatican.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
