Me and my partner and teenage girl recently stayed at 'Riu Palace Tres Islas' I have to say it was the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The Staff were amazing, and extremly hard-working and the hotel was very very clean and the cleaners are always working very hard! The best points about the hotel are the cleanliness and the food. The option of food is huge! All sorts prepared on a buffet, fish, meats, soups, salads, everything you can imagine! All followed by fresh homemade pastries, buns, cakes and lots of ice cream in any flavour you can think of. Breakfast is also well made for example. cooked breakfast, pancakes, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toasts, breads, pastries!
It is perfect if you want a hot relaxing holiday, as the weather was boiling! There is not much entertainment on for small children, but there is bands or dancers on every night.
It is also not in the main 'tackier' part of Corralejo but its only a short journey by taxi or bus into Corralejo where there are lots of clubs, pubs and nightlife if that is your cup of tea! Overall the holiday was fantastic and the hotel is right on the beach!

I couldn't agree more with the previous feedback comments about this hotel. We have just returned from a short break here and couldn't fault a thing about the hotel.
We've stayed all over the world and my husband travels extensively for work and we both agree that this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in for service, food and comfort.
The choice of food at the buffet was staggering, catering for all tastes including a decent veggie section. Unlike some hotels where we've felt like we are in a stampede collecting food from a buffet, this was organised so that it actually felt far more civilised.
Yes, a lot of the other guests were German and my husband and I were probably some of the youngest guests (we are both early 40's) but it didn't matter at all. Much prefer it that way than British riff raff which seem to dominate so many Spanish resorts and hotels nowadays.
The weather was terrible for our break but the hotel made up for the disappointment of that and the beach which the hotel sits on, would rival even the finest Caribbean beaches we've been to.
The staff at the hotel were charming and couldn't do enough for us. I just hope that they manage to maintain the staff and their service levels when they re-open, as we found out that this hotel will close for full refurbishment from April -October 2007.

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. The room was spotless, a decent size with a fantastic view of the other two islands. The staff could have done nothing more to make the stay enjoyable. The other guests were 90 percent middle aged/older Germans, most were not chatty but not rude or unpleasant.
We witnessed no noisy or bad behaviour all week which on holiday now can be a huge bonus. The biggest attraction of the hotel is the food, choice and quality have to be seen to be believed. It is both buffet and cooked in front of you to your taste. During our stay we had lobster, crayfish, kid, quail and suckling pig to name just a few of the choices.
At breakfast it is the same, they even make fresh smoothies in front of you, dessert is like walking into a cake shop and been given free rein. Also in perspective there is every healthy option available. The hotel is set on a beautiful beach, obviously weather cannot be guaranteed.
It is only a five euro taxi fare into the town which is better than expected but most do not leave the hotel. I presume in British summertime there will be more UK guests and it will be busier.
