Hotel is spotless, rooms are large and luxurious, and all have a large balcony with lovely sea view.



Plenty to do within hotel ie indoor pool, outdoor pool, kids play area outside, sauna, steam room , gym and games room. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar has a nice atmosphere.



Hotel provides a free shuttle bus to all Pestana hotels nearby and also free shuttle bus to the town of Portimao which has plenty of things to do and see.



The beach is a 5 minute walk from hotel. The town of Alvor is also within walking distance.

Timeshare for two weeks end of spring/beg of summer

We bought a week's timeshare in 2005 and liked the apartment so much we bought another week in 2006. Unfortunately this year (2007) my husband broke his leg so couldn't fly and we elected to swap to another Pestana resort in late September.



We really missed Alvor Park - the apartments are beautiful. Two lovely marble bathrooms, a spacious living room and large bedroom with large twin beds pushed together - what a brilliant idea! Cooker provided, plus everything short of a dishwasher & washing machine. But laundry service on site. Staff couldn't be more knowledgeable and helpful. Food and drink was expensive, but so close to Alvor most people eat out anyway. Same with entertainment. Lovely swimming pool plus indoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna etc.



Scrupulously clean. Lovely sea view and only 10 minutes walk from Alvor town with all its character and seafood restaurants on the front. Some good shops if you look beyond the tourist "tat". Very geared towards British visitors.



We're looking forward to our next holiday there in the Spring.

lovely hotel and Nice Restaraunt with good but expensive food. The Hotel bar was sadly lacking atmosphere with music on very low early in the night and then no music at all later on. Unless there was football on the television, then you had no choice but to listen to it.



Rooms are clean and have lots of amenitys and the village is only a short walk away, although the hotel offers no entertainment in the evenings the othe pestina hotels do and you are free to visit those.

Staff are very, very nice .They can not do enough for you .It is so clean you can eat of the floor. Not that we did, I think it is higher than 10 a good 20 .I know it is new but luxury spot on .We will be going ever April.



The food is also very good and they do offers most days. The pool is so nice my husband said as I do not swim.5 min walk to shops, 10-15 min walk to beach, absolutely brill.
