Playa Park Hotel

We booked the flights and hotel ourselves saving quite a bit of money. The hotel was very clean which is the main thing that we were looking for.
The food was great and catered for all tastes from English through to Mediterranean. We had a nine year old who is not too fussy and a Four year sold who is fussy and they both loved the food.
We will be going back.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Thomson have apparently stopped using it but I think they have made a huge mistake.
The food is very good and they manage somehow to cater for 5 different countries. The pool is maybe just a little small at peak times of the year but that is the only slight dig we can make.
The entertainment staff do a fab job and keep the kids entertained as well as the adults. The rooms are kept very clean and the staff are both friendly and helpful. 10/10 - we couldn't have asked for more!

This hotel is great. It really suits families. The staff are very nice and speak an array of languages between them. The food is lovely and the dining area is incredibly clean and tidy. The bedrooms aren't that spacious, although the wardrobes are huge. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony facing the sea and the view was beautiful.
The pool is very refreshing. It is a perfect temperature if you have been on the sun loungers! The bar is a quite amiable space and the bar staff are great! The entertainment is always good with daily Bingo and a kid's Mini Disco ran by the reps who run the kid's club during the day also. They all appeared very approachable. This hotel is in a perfect location as it is very quiet, but not far from the beach or the shops.
I would not advise Salou to people who find hilly areas difficult. Also, I would most certainly not advise traveling with MyTravel as their service is very poor. I was most disappointed with them but overall it was fantastic!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly the food is exquisite and the pools are very nice but they could be heated.
It’s a very nice place to stay about 15 minutes from Port Aventura on a bus. all you shoppers out there, there are loads of fashion label clothes shop a good walk away from the hotel and there are quite a few local supermarkets.
There are 7 floors, I would recommend a room on floor 6 as the view is beautiful. The entertainment is brilliant, you have flamenco dancers and you have magicians. There is a club in the hotel. The hotel is very nice.

This holiday was excellent and so was the hotel at average i would rate the hotel at 9.5% out of ten. I would recommend a holiday in Salou, it is a very lively place.
There was one problem at the hotel though, it was very loud at night because every night they were always having discos at shows. There is also a massive beach right next to the hotel it would be walking distance.

Excellent hotel staff very friendly and helpful especially the reception and greeter Robert. Rooms very nice and cleaned every day. Food very nice and varied. Gala night every Friday where champagne was served.
Two small beaches nearby. The only down side was you had to walk up a hill which ever way you came back from the main centre but there is a bus stop right outside. The pool could do with heating as it was freezing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly.
Room cleaning was daily and was of an exceptional standard.
The food was varied and careered for nearly all. NOT A MASHED POTATO IN SIGHT hence a rating of only 6.
A VERY GOOD HOLIDAY

Overall the Playa Park was a very clean and friendly hotel.
The food menu for children could be improved; there should be a separate menu for children. The two swimming pools were cleaned every day. The hotel rooms were very clean. The evening entertainment was ok but finished quite early at 11.30pm but the bar stays open longer. The hotel was situated in very close proximity to the smaller beaches and the main Salou beach was about a 10 minute walk away.

Hotel was lovely and clean the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was splendid, my children are really fussy eaters and they never complained once, infact they went back for seconds. There was a children’s club so my children were never bored. Splendid hotel would highly recommend it to anyone. Infact we have booked to go back next year for two weeks. It’s a hotel not to be missed for its cleanliness and friendly staff. The beach is just over the road from the hotel, which is an advantage. The bus stop is just outside to take you to port aventura theme park, which you shouldn’t miss. Great place and hotel for children and grown ups
