Velavaru Tourist Resort
Velavaru is one of the only two resort islands in Dhaalu atoll, appoximiately 125 Km south of the capital Male' and the International airport. Velavaru is of average size and is approximately 500m in length by 200 m wide. Velavaru opened in 1998 with 80 semi and fully detached palm thached beach bungalows built just a few meters from the water.
