Good, clean, comfortable room; good service (forgotten items forwarded); and excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room. Highly recommended.
What a find!
from silverdale18
Having always stayed in 4-star hotels, we were a bit sceptical about booking a guest house. Our fears were completely unfounded on arriving at the Townhouse; a friendly welcome and a beautiful hotel awaited us. We booked a luxury room and were definitely not disappointed. It was beautiful. A huge comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast next morning was the best we've had, freshly prepared and piping hot. We will definitely visit again!
Nice

I stayed here for one night and it was perfectly acceptable. Nice big room and bathroom, clean and crisp decor. Good breakfast but no real bar. Some nice touches like DVD players in the room. Friendly staff and good location. No real soul though and isn't quite what it wants to be which is a boutique hotel.
Friendly & Welcoming

I made a late rooms booking for this hotel and certainly wasn't disappointed. It provided very good value for money, as I found myself in a gorgeous top floor double room, with a very nice bathroom. The room was light & airy, well decorated & clean. I found the staff very friendly & welcoming, which is particularly important as a woman travelling on my own. The breakfast was delicious.

One night at the Townhouse was too long....we paid £75 for a double en-suite room with breakfast. We paid £75 and got a dark and dingy and dusty basement cell with a bathroom on the corridor and cold toast. The owner was unrepentent and advised that there is a range of room prices and that we had chosen the cheapest room.....Breakfast was disorganised and chaotic. We waited an hour for a cooked breakfast, during which time we were presented with a rack of cold toast. Despite polite complaint the owner remained firmly in denial,...

First impressions are very good. Light and airy entrance and reception areas. Lounge and some bedrooms are adequate. The management were very unhelpful and would not listen to any problems. An upmarket faulty towers. Convenient location but generally the hotel was disappointing.
Lovely Hotel in a quiet area of Cheltenham
from JBBelfast
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Had a double ensuite room for single occupancy at £58 B&B. The owners made me feel very much at home. Had a great lounge with a 'self service' bar. The room was modern and comfortable. The English breakfast was delicious, served with fresh coffee. The town centre was a 5-10 min walk though a nice area. Would stay again.
Friendly welcome at the Townhouse

Booked in for one Saturday night in August. We had a great welcome and the place felt like home. Only about a ten minute walk into the city centre. A really comfortable lounge area with bar, dvds to watch (if the weathers not too good) comfortable bedrooms and a fabulous breakfast. Well worth the £75 per room!
Wonderful stay
from jared_m
I stayed here on numerous occassions for business between October 2004 and March 2005. The owners, Adam and Jayne, are extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to them I felt quite at home. The rooms are nice, clean, modern decor. There are some rooms which are very large, if possible go for these for longer trips. Breakfast is good, hand-cooked hot food included, nothing fancy but just perfect. The coffee is also good here which I quite appreciated. Location is not bad, basically a 5-10 minute walk from the town-centre...

Have stayed several times. The best rooms are elegantly and spaciously furnished. The staff have always been helpful, friendly and courteous. The breakfast is cooked to order and one of the very best we have come across. Walking distance to town centre.
No restaurant although fairly near several.
