We stayed there in apartment 165 in August 2008.
The apartment itself was spacious and well maintained, we had no problems there. The only problem was the 56 steps up to the apartment, which can take it out of you.
However, paying for the sunbeds at the pool was frustrating, 2.50 for a bed and 2.50 for a parasol. That would amount to 140 euro for a couple on a fornights holiday, a big chunk of your money. We opted to lie on our balcony instead. The staff were friendly enough with snacks available at the poolside bar a reasonable price.
For good food go to the oyster catcher or Little Italy for a treat. If your on a budget head to charlies just around the corner.
I found there were plenty of rstaurants but very few bars so this isnt the place to come if you are looking for a lively holiday but if you fancy a relaxing holiday it would be ideal

Victoria Court II is clean, easy to locate and 5 mins max walk from the sea-front/beach. The apartment was self-sufficient which was different but workable. Pool was nice. Had to pay for sunbed/parasol hire which could amount to quite a bit for families, ie 2 euro per bed/parasol/per day. This rate will increase 1 Jan 09 apparently. Anyhow, that aside, it wouldn't put me off going back. Plenty bars/restaurants within walking distance. Weather was awesome!

We stayed in apartment 163 at Vicoria Court 2.
The apartment was very modern and in immaculate condition.... I would highly reccommend this to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay. Furthermore the apartment had the bonus of a flat screen TV with Sky!
The close proximity to bars, restaurants and the beach mean that the location is perfect.
10/10 will definately be re booking this apartment!

I have been to Victoria II twice now, once in 2005 and again in 2007.I find it a great place, not far from the beach or the local supermarkets and a stones throw away from some nice restaurants.
The apartment we were staying in was over the complex office,it was modern, clean, with a large balcony so we didn't need to go down to the pool as we had the sun all day! On my visit in 2005 the balcony was a lot smaller so being around the pool was a must if you wanted to lie in the sun.
I read from another preview that it was noisy, well we was there in October (the 1st 2 weeks) but didn't hear anything! the security guard was there,as there was in 2005,and all was pretty peaceful.
Also another review stated about the cockroaches,go to Gran Canaria, the place was running alive with them when I went in 2003!! My partner and I saw some cockroaches and we had ONE in the apartment in the 2 weeks we stayed there.
The touts are much like the cockroaches and are to be ignored at all cost,if you stop and talk,it could cost you half a day of missed sunshine and a bale of leaflets and figures to paw through.
All in all I love the place and hope to be there again soon

Had a lovely time at Victoria 2. Rooms slightly dated but clean and very homely, especially the satellite tv. Clean complex. Victoria Bar very welcoming, never busy but always some company to be had. Staff very efficient and friendly. Pool warm, but unfortunately not allowed inflatables. Two euros for sun bed, but we didn't bother as warm but cloudy so no sunbathing.
We had a night flight home and was able to pay 30 euros to keep our room on, which was a blessing. Lots of nice eating places. Beach about 15 mins away, but a nice stroll. Aquapark quite expensive. The whole resort had a very calm and gentle feel about it, and was very pleasant. We didn't see any touts but were approached by waiters wanting us to eat at their restaurant, which got a bit annoying after a bit. We booked through Los Cristianos Sun who were very helpful. Good resort and complex for the elderly or disabled, with plenty of scooters for hire. Went for a week at half term and hoping to go for two at easter.

Just returned from my first ever holiday in Tenerife, staying at Victoria Court 2. The accommodation was in good order with everything required for self-catering. There is a supermarket around the corner for all essentials and bars and restaurants all within close proximity. Food tends to be basic-no fine dining here but people I spoke said that the Fortuna Restaurant in town excels but also requires booking to get a seat and appears to be only open at night.
Only complaint about the complex was the noise after 11pm, despite the management's request that silence be observed. On the Thursday night/Friday morning there was a party above me from 12:30 am until 03:00am. and other nights could be as noisy. I understand that there used to be a security guard but has now been withdrawn. Bad mistake!!
Weather was extremely hot (25-30c) and apart from two days of cloud and rain during one night, very sunny.
I am not a beach bum and like to travel and see the locations where ever I go, so I bought the local bus pass called the Bono. Comes at two prices; 13 and 30 Euros and can be bought in newsagents (there is one run by an Englishman near the main bus terminal) - The pass offers big reductions off normal prices (local is 30% and long distance 50%) I bought the 30 pass and went across the island. Highlight of the trip was the visit to Puerto de la Cruz which has the most Spanish feel of the all the places I visited. The bus trip on to Los Gigantes was highlight of the trip. Not for the fainthearted! Onward and upwards around hairy scary bends and big drops.

Victoria Court II is a lovely and quite apartment complex. There is a large heated swimming pool with it’s own children’s section, with ample sunbathing space around it. The one down side is that you have to pay 2 euros per day for the hire of sun beds and parasols. The complex has a pool side bar that serves food and drinks from 10am till late, all at a reasonable price.
We stopped in a very clean spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a large balcony over looking the pool and a smaller back balcony looking towards the hills. The apartment had everything you required on a self catering holiday: oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, stereo and TV with satellite. There was a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second.
Just a short walk away (a couple of minutes at the most) is a supermarket and a good selection of bars and restaurants. The town centre and beach are also close by within easy walking distance.
I have been visiting the same complex for around 5 years now and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quite relaxing holiday in the sun.

We have been going to Los Christianos for about 10 years in October or November.
If you want a chill out with clean beaches and good food this is the place for you.
About 12 mins from the airport in a taxi will cost you 18-20 Euros. There are some 10 bars with live entertainment in the centre and slightly further a field but no more a few minutes from each other.
The 'Time Share' touts are still a big problem at most junctions and seem ruder every year. The 'lucky lucky' guys from Senegal are still there in force selling their rubbish and disturbing your meal, so eat inside.
The main disappointment this year was the Irish Times, the music and 'craic' was good but all the spirits are now on OPTICS, what bars in Tenerife have these!! Go for the music but not the drink at 9 euros on average for 2 shorts with coke makes it one of the dearest bars.
We had 3 weeks holiday with one day of rain - brilliant.

We booked this apartment through our timeshare company Interval International. We were very disappointed. Firstly we have never had to pay for sun beds and brollies before but were charged daily for the use of them. Also we had to buy our own toilet rolls.
Each night on coming back to the apartment there were cockroaches, we sprayed them every evening. I understand that cockroaches are around in hot countries but on the 4th night we were infested with them, they were up the curtains, in the bed, in the kitchen and bathroom, up the walls and everywhere outside.
The security guard offered to spray them for us but in my opinion the apartment needed to be fumigated. We booked out and went to stay in a hotel.

What can I say the staff with the exception of one member where extremely friendly and helpful the food was excellent, the entertainment programme was superb they had this English dj compare who was no stop all day and night the evening was just as good great entertainment throughout the week.
Drink was cheap as chips as the say on TV and happy hour seamed like it was all evening, the only downside was it was in Puerto Rico the resort was a purpose built place which lacked character and just wasn’t appealing, also the hill it was on seamed more like Everest great views at night of the valley all light up though.
We spent most of the week in the Colina Mar it self, would I go back I would almost certainly go back to the Colina Mar it is a brilliant place and you will enjoy your stay there.

A nice place, easily accessible for the disabled! My girlfriend, Julie and I found it an ideal base to check out all the local bars and restaurants! I have stayed here for several years, my wife Renkje (who is disabled) also finds it very agreeable! Would recommend it to all, families, couples and single people alike! The room was clean and well serviced, although the complex amenities are limited, this was offset by the nearby availability of bars and restaurants!

Victoria Court 2 Los Cristianos.
Lovely accommodation, although our apartment was slightly dated.
Very clean and nicely located on the outskirts of the resort. Nice and quiet at night, could actually get to sleep. Flat walk to the sea front and centre making it ideal location if less mobile.
Heated pool on complex was a bonus, small cafe restaurant on site which was handy and competitively priced.
Small independent letting business, very efficient and friendly service. If i was to return to Tenerife again I would consider using this company again.
The only MAJOR downside to this holiday is the constant touting by holiday clubs and timeshare touts, it was a constant problem. You could only walk a few steps before more scratch cards was thrust into your face, which was relentless. I would suggest anyone wanting to join one of these clubs, research them first, many are mentioned in this sites forum section.
Don't go to Los Cristianos without visiting Fortuna restaurant, simply the best food ever tasted and the portions make the UK portions seem like child portions, especially if you like meat.(facing church turn left down the alley way and on the right hand side).
Three Chinese restaurants all tried opposite Arrona Gran hotel were superb along with the best cow pie tasted at Desperate Dans, excellent value for money, especially if you have kids with you, not all kids are charged for.
Worst food tasted, Tex Mex restaurant along from Fortuna, like eating shoe leather.
The water park at along from the resort was very expensive, you had to pay extra for sun beds once inside.
Cable car, check with them before driving there, brilliant scenery on the way there but car not always working.
Weather in November mostly sunny but some rainy days with clouds.
