Whitehall Hotel

I've recently stayed in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised when we turned into the car park, the grounds looked lovely perfect for the wedding we were about to attend. As we walked into reception we were greeted and got checked in nice an early. Our room was on the ground floor and had cot space as we had our little baby boy with us. The room was damp and fusty which I was very concerned about, the curtain pole nearly falling down, moulding old wooden windows, a shower that didn't even get hot, glasses that weren't clean and dust everywhere. The room was so dated I cold have cried especially as we were being charged £85 for the one night. To be honest I wouldn't have paid 85 pence! The breakfast was nothing to shout home about, we sat down and got asked what would we like? No menu no offer of something I felt cheeky to be honest but soon forgot after waiting which felt like forever for a scabby one sausage and one bacon? oh but had the choice of cereals tea and cold coffee! On our departure I gathered my belongings just checking underneath the bed just to be sure none of my sons toys were under there and to my horror I found an old bottle of wine! I feel disgusted. We soon checked out and will never in my life return. My son now has become very ill with an upset tummy which started the day we left and I can only put it down to this grotty old place. Shame really!!!
