Park Inn Hotel Harlow

The hotel appears to be undergoing refurbishment in places therefore there was no food being served in the restaurant and NO HEATING! We weren't advised of this when booking the hotel and were disappointed when we arrived. The carpet through the hotel is like a patchwork quilt with a lot of it taped to the floor! The staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful and on checkout we found a number of charges on our account which were nothing to do with us! I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.

My friend and I were a little worried after reading some of the reviews as we were staying here over the May bank holiday whilst visiting friends. This is a 3 star hotel and we found it to be better than some we have stayed in of this standard. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, not a bed bug in sight. Tea & coffee, shower gel etc were provided in the room. The room was warm but we were able to open a window. The health centre was excellent, good gym, pool sauna and steam room. We stayed here in summer 2006 prior to a flight at Stansted and all I can say is i'm glad it was only 1 night!!, filthy room which backed onto an unsightly slummy housing area with cars going up and down all night, room was stifling hot and windows were jammed shut, in fact the only 2 decent things at this hotel is the pool and the EXIT, would never stay here again.

Date December 2006 Trip Advisor London UK Recently stayed one night at the Park Inn Hotel Harlow. Room was basic but batroom was dirty and in need of a good clean! No towels so we had to ring reception and wait half an hour, which was only annoying because we were in a hurry to wash and change to go out. Carpets in reception and bar area were taped together, whilst in bar area the carpet was actually rolled up along one side which several people tripped over. This hotel is pretty unhygenic throughout. The rooms and particularly the bathrooms are filthy, with floors being strewn with old pubic hair. Tile grout is mouldy and general cleaning is superficial. A large steam pipe also runs through the bedroom making it impossible to turn the heat off.

Not sure what the chap below is so happy about, maybe you need to up your standards a little! i stayed at this hotel for my birthday it was great the staff were helpful.our room was clean and tidy . the swimming pool and the gym were clean and tidy too and the staff were fab . we have a great break away.we stay in alot of hotels and the moat house in harlow was my second best. im staying in the hotel again this year with all my family.

Stayed end of April for 2 nights. However only stayed for one night since it was that bad. Unhygenic, smelly, old, windows do not lock and with no safe you are buggered. Beds have seen better days - very uncomfortable and not washed. There was a stain on my bed and had to get housekeeping to come and change it. The morning after i had pimples all over my skin hinting the bed was simply not clean.
