Sea Club Stella Di Mare Resort

My husband and I have recently returned from a 1 week all inclusive stay at the Stella Sea Club Resort in Egypt, from day 1 we felt disappointed and by day 2 my husband was ready to come home.
On arrival at the resort you will find an oil refinery on one side and a gas plant on the other. Once in the resort you check in and part of the all inclusive package means your given these silly wrist bands that you must wear at all times, please note that wearing these means when you want a drink or something to eat you are kept waiting a very long time. Those not wearing them get served straight away, in the end we took them off and funny enough got served every time and the food portions suddenly got bigger.
The main restaurant is a huge let down, it was hosting a corporate function throughout our weeks stay and finding a table to eat at was sometimes quite a chore and none of the waiting staff would help you find a free table.
It was my husbands birthday while we were there and so we decided to arrange a meal at the Indian restaurant set in the resort. This is when things got really bad we were served up raw chicken which we only discovered after we had eaten half of it, my husband complained to the hotel manager and restaurant manager, their response was to give us a plate a fresh fruit the following morning, needless to say my husband and I were not in the mood to eat anything.
The whole holiday was disappointing, the service was terrible and the food was appalling. We love Egypt and we have been before but decided to try and different resort. We wish we had stuck to the place we know and love in Taba Heights, where the people, food and the service are outstanding.
The only compliment we can give is to British Airways they were fantastic and we even got upgraded on our flight home.
All in all its safe to say we will NEVER return to the STELLA SEA CLUB.

It was amazing we got a lovely tan and the bathrooms are clean the room is organised and cold the beach is clean and fresh. There are some jellyfishes and tiny rocks but they didn’t bother you allot.
The food is amazing and the lemon juice served at the beach bar is yummy make to get your sun block with you to reapply generously because you will get a sun burn and dry skin just like I did!
People there are very open minded many Europeans some middle eastern.
The arcade club and movie theatre within the resort are fun, so are the water sports such as canoeing banana boat water skiing, have fun!
