New Steine Hotel

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and I'm sure there are better places in Brighton to stay than this one. The website looks lovely but our room was very different from the pictures! Not only was it badly in need of decoration but the windows didn't close properly, the mattress was so soft my partner and I kept rolling into the middle of it but the bathroom had to be seen to be believed. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was delicious, prompt with a good selection. Service was attentive; couldn't have asked for anything more. Bed was comfortable, room could only be described as 'cosy' as was the bathroom. But, then again, location was great.

My wife and I have just spent two nights at the hotel, and were more than satisfied. Room was of a very high standard, service from all the staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, we ate in the hotel both nights of our stay, and were very pleased with the food served. We felt like welcome guests and not just a room number as often happens in hotels. Would certainly recommend it, and would not now stay anywhere else in Brighton.

I have recently returned from a ver plesant stay at the New Steine hotel. I stayed friday to monday during brighton pride which is a very busy time of year for brighton. The hotel was clean, with rooms being cleaned everyday. There was a good selection at breakfast & the 24hr room service for both food and drink is a massive bonus point!! No more searching around for dodgy chicken at 3am! The hotel rooms decor was better than some major hotel chains & the staff were friendly. I recently stayed at the New Steine Hotel and I was impressed by the way the staff are very helpful and the way they would go out of their way to help you. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Location is great and close to the beach and the shops. My only dislikes was the fact that the hotel itself is very noisy, as the walls are paper thin and you can hear what is being said in the next room.
