I stayed in this hotel for only one night, and was glad that it was only one night. Considering the prices, rooms looked very poor, I expected higher standard. Furnitures old and shabby, greasy and dirty walls, and discusting, dirty windows. Overall it looked like it has... more

This is a beautiful hotel which we really enjoyed staying at. We were upgraded, which considering we paid internet rates for the room, was excellent. It is not of the same standard as the Hilton or the Thistle which are also on the seafront but then we would have paid a... more

Fun by the sea
Had a fantastic time down at the Queens. Came for a weekend from London and had a great time. Everything was easy, location was fantastic - i did not even need my car for the two days i was there. Was very clean and staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!!
Excellent !
The queens hotel is just fantastic, could not ask for better. Every thing you expect from a hotel. The staff are friendly. The rooms are superb, very clean. Could not find any faults with this hotel. Will definately go back with out any hesitation.
poor value for money
Very misleading pictures on hotel website. Reeception area shabby, bar and restaurant area uninviting. Beds very hard and noise levels high. Not worth the price at all. Also no subsidised parking, and at £30 for 2 nights it was an unexpected extra! poor english spoken by most of the staff, and to top it all filthy leisure facilities oh! and did I mention the dirty windows as well!! need I go on.......
Highly recommended
I stayed at the Queens Hotel last week with my girlfriend as part of a Valentines treat. From the start the staff were friendly and keen to help. The check-in was quick and efficient. As we got to our room the Champagne and flowers I had requested were already there. The view was amazing to say the least as we could see the entire seafront from pier to pier. The following morning we were treated to a lovely cooked breakfast, which was a nice end to our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Brighton. Mike
Poor service! Everything is lousy for that money!
I can not recommend this Hotel! Better book a cheaper B&B and take a careful look during the Your stay. The breakfast is good - but only the continental one is included. You have to pay for every egg or ham stripe. The renovated rooms could be nice, but then book striktly one of these, otherwise don't forget a plier for the water taps! Is it not funny that the good reviews seeming to be penned by the same person?
Perfect stay
Friendly Staff, Excellent Room and amazing Food, Great Stay and hope to be back soon.
heaven on earth!!
I stayed last Saturday at the Queens Hotel, ....WOW!!! It has always been a nice place, but now that the renovations are almost complete, it is so much better. As always, the staff make you feel like you are staying with your favourite relative, always chatty and friendly. The new bar (which now directly oversees the seafront), has a great mood , quite athmospheric . But the best thing now is by far the new rooms!! Sleek lines, with a modern feel to them, and of course some delicious pictures of Brighton images dotted about to remind you what a delightful city Brighton is.The bathrooms are also very modern, but the design and finish of the new rooms MUST BE SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!
Not worth the price and three stars!
Polite - but not very kind - helpful - but not very obliging: untrained teenagers in the service. This hotel does not apply up to the international standards in that category. The price is not adequate. Don't forget a window cleansing agent. If you book a room with BREAKFAST online via a travel organization (expedia or so), take a printed acknowledgement with you, otherwise you have to start out hunger strike!
we had a great time in brighton
Well when we got to the hotel we got suprised cause we saw this website one week earlier and it said that the building had scaffolding all around but when we got there there wasn't any scaffolding. the building looked really nice. When we got inside the staff were so helpful and so cheerful. My wife and I stayed in a sea viw double. The room was very beautiful. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was very elegant. You would never get such a quality room in Texas at such a bargain price. We spent £99 for my wife and I including breakfast and the swimming pool and gym. Had a great stay will definatley come again. Fred & Hannah
fantastic!!!!!!!
I don't know from where to start. I had a great time in brighton and the hotel we stayed "the queens" was really nice. they had scaffolding only in the first floor but, surprisingly was building spotless. I was very impressed with the staff, although one or two didn't speak english. the receptionist were so lovely which made our stay fab. good looking bar tenders ;) the room we stayed was a quad. and it was very spacious for four people. we all had breakfast included and the free use of the health club. even when we checked out we were still able to use the facilities of the hotel which was very cool cause we spent the whole day in brighton before we left. I recommend this hotel to everybody cause it's so beautiful and people are so nice. thanks!
