never again, would not recommend to enemy. Absolute faulty towers. Beds are old and squeaky, floors, carpets, decor old. Bar is like in prison, beer was off, not much choice. Management ignores you. Food is not fresh and does not taste good. Overall mark is big fat zero.

Oh My Good God !!!!!!from bert_grim
Book here at your peril. I have just returned from what has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My friends and I took three rooms and although my room was fairly clean and basic, both of the other two were awful. No hot water, shower broken, The hotel is more akin to the type of place youd associate with somewhere like russia, they even have a piece of guttering and down pipe in the bar area catching the rain water that leaks through the roof. The place is a disgrace and needs immediate renovation. The price was ridculous for...

Filthy Towersfrom Hoylite
What a dump. The website sold us the hotel but the pictures must of been of another hotel or the photographer was damn good to make it look so nice. The hotel was filthy the public areas needed a good clean or paint. The room needed a refurb the bathroom ( in its loosest sence) was very very small and in need of a good clean. I have thrown better suites away. The furninshings were a mix of what ever seems to have been lying aorund. The cost of it was disgusting at over £100 a night. A travel motel is much much better value. We found we...

Do not stay herefrom Arsene1Red
My family booked 1 night here August 2006. Absolutley disgusting. Wish we'd seen this web site before we booked as all other reviews are spot on. We took photo's and sent them to the Bournemouth tourist board who are apparently investigating! They should be closed down. Demolished.General Manager said he'd never had any compaints before. We paid £100 for a night, they should have paid us double that to stay there. Seems accomodation doesn't get inspected like restaurants do, why?
What a dump!from al;dfjsdlfjasdklfj
This hotel has to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. We checked in and was shown our room which was £100 per night? They would of had to pay me £200 a night to stay there. The carpet was stained and the room stank. I could go on........ In fact the whole hotel stank. We checked straight back out again and was charged £50 to cancel. I really don't know how this hotel has been given a 3 star rating.
Colditz would be better!!!from Oliviab1217
We had difficulty finding the hotel as the signage was not lit up on the road or on the front of the hotel We were the only car in the car park - not a good sign. From the car park I could see some grotty tables and chairs in one room to the left which looked rather neglected. The only area lit up in the hotel was the reception area and obviously the hallways. All other rooms were in darkness. We were allocated one room on the second floor - the bathroom had a loo and a bath (badly stained) the room was small with a sink, four poster...

Management response from InternationalHotel
The correspondent arrived when the Hotel was almost full consequently we let our smaller double room last. We are an older property and about to undergo refurbishment, we do occasionally experience leaky windows.
Enforcing a no smoking rule in bedrooms is a problem all hotels have to deal with. We try to counter the effect of nicotine by regular cleaning of all soft furnishings and carpets together with air fresheners.
It is a pity the guest did not take breakfast; we offer a comprehensive buffet service that is very popular as often commented on other review sites.
In defence of other Hotels, we all endeavour to sell two nights minimum during the season. We cannot afford to sell the only popular night in the week in high season on it's own.
Not Pleasantfrom eacygirl
Stayed at this hotel in September 2004 on a linedance weekend. The weekend itself was great. The hotel not so great. The food was awful!! We had to eat out all weekend. The rooms were okay. There were about 16 of us staying inthe hotel. None of us were together, we were scattered all over the hotel. Two groups had to be moved because of location/smell of rooms. Our room was okay, although the windows wouldnt close properly and one of the lights wasnt working. Wouldnt recommend a stay here, sorry.
Disaster Towersfrom A TripAdvisor Member
Was really dissapointed in this hotel. Having seen the photos and read things wrote about it thought it sounded quite good. The name 'International' gives it a touch of class but don't be fooled. I wouldn't ever visit again. Sad to say the place was dirty, falling down and not fit for habiation let alone a holiday. The rooms were more akin to the type you may find in a asylum seekers hostel. Plenty of good places in Bournemouth this isn't one of them.

Stayed at B.I.H in 1993 on our wedding night and was so impressed we went back on our 10th anniversary.Sadly we was not at all impressed the second time around. The decor in the honeymoon suite had not changed at all in the 10 years, damp stains on the walls and ceilings, shabby old furniture not good for £160 a night.Requested breakfast in bed but had to phone down for it half an hour after it should have arrived waited another 20 mins and eventually walked down to collect it myself.God this makes me sound like a whinging old git but being...
