BEWARE dealing with Bentley Lodge Torquay..........................................................
We booked through laterooms for two nights stay the second weekend in May 2008, we were phoned by one of the owners of The Bentley Lodge saying that the room we booked, AND PAID for through Laterooms was not available and the only rooms available were more money and we could pay the extra or cancel the booking. He told me to think about it and talk to my wife. I rang him the following morning saying we wanted to cancel.
The following month I checked my credit card statement to find the credit had not gone onto my card, so I rang Bentley Lodge Torquay and spoke to the owners. They denied any knowledge of our conversation and said no credit will not be made, not an honest company. Late room should stop dealing with them.

Fab bed breakfast .Rooms of high standard with a little extra. Staff friendly and willing to help,nothing to muck to ask. Beakfast brilliant as soon as we sat down our breakfast was there.Anybody staying at Torquay i would recommend this hotel.Fab. Thanks for a great weekend.Will definately recommend you to my friends and look forward to seeing you next year, Thanks again. Brill Well done.Keep up the good work.
