Carlton Court Hotel Reviews
" Fantastic weekend break in Torquay "
Submitted By: rachelaball
We arrived at the Carlton Court Hotel on the 1st November 08. We occupied room 9 which is situated upstairs overlooking the garden. It was wonderful, clean, airy, warm and every bit of a 5* guesthouse. Helen and Phil are welcoming and gave great advice and suggestions on places to eat and visit during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and relaxing as you can sit overlooking the garden. You do need a car to get to the resturants as they hotel is at the top of the town but there is a local pub if a quick bite is all you need. We would definately return and book room 9 again!
" The Carlton Court is a superior guest... "

The Carlton Court is a superior guest house. This was our second visit (May 2008) with friends and we were not disappointed. There are only six rooms available to book, but this gives the hotel a delightful intimacy. The hosts, Helen and Phil, are very friendly and accommodating; the rooms are very well appointed and boast the kind of facilities usually seen in larger and more expensive hotels. Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and use local ingredients. There is on-site car parking. The rooms are spotlessly clean. All-in-all, it would be difficult to find better accommodation at the price.
