Hotel Hudson

The Hudson Hotel is more of a bed and breakfast establishment. The location is excellent, a short stroll to the harbour, and main shopping area. A further short stroll will take you along the beach front. The room was clean, had a TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities. No phone. It did have an ironing board but no iron or hairdryer, but these were available from the reception. stayed here one night over new year bright nicely renovated old building bright modern look ,great breakfast room and lounge bar very comfortable bed , medium size room with a bay nicely appointed tasteful decor everything matched too friendly owner good late breakfast and late check out for new year enjoyed our stay would go back

After a week of so-so and downright awful UK resort b&b's and hotels, the Hudson was a very pleasant surprise. As well as providing excellent, welcoming and friendly service, the rooms are newly refurbished and, like the public areas, are clean and well-furnished. I only stayed one night but had a very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was served in the modern dining room and was very good.
