were to begin? i read bad reviews on this hotel and although its not as bad as some of them make out it is still the worst hotel ive ever stayed in! the staff are ignorant, we paid for our safety deposit box on the 1st day and wen we left the said we didnt pay so got nothing back! the bloke who works the nights can hardly speak english so if u need any help with anything he cant understand, and he is a bit of a to$$er! but we never got told off for playin music loud all nite! the door was broke when we got there and they tried to charge us 150 euros to fix it but our rep got it down to 40! 40 euros for a new latch haha i dont think so! they must be loaded! no fridge , no aircon and the fans were rubbish, the night porter phoned the police once coz we were talkin outside the hotel after a night out! i wouldnt advise any1 stay at this hotel infact i would pay some body to knock it down with the staff inside it!

Although not the best too look at, the Llevant had a nice friendly atmosphere, the rooms were pretty basic, but what do you expect from 18-30s hotels.
The pool is across the road which is strange at first but you get used to it.
Staff were polite and helpful, we had a leaking shower and the lady from reception came armed with a mop one night.
Despite being slightly shabby and dingey its a perfect place to rest your head after a heavy night drinking, we got a safety deposit box and locked everything valuable away, but had no problems and heard of no problems with theives/robbers etc.
There was always someone on recpetion on a night, and they were very inquizative if there was someone they didn't recognise.
Would definatley choose to return here other than some of the hotels i have heard about in Ibiza,
Overall it was Basic, clean and safe. :)

Where to start? No, it’s not too bad however we had no airconditioning, no fridge, no balcony, and the shower had cold water for one night.
However the hotel room was clean and the maid cleaned nearly every day we were there, so could have been worse.
The pool was really nice and the pool side bar served lovely food. We ate here every day as the breakfast we were given was horrible. As if you didn’t feel sick enough with your hangover then you went down to a little crusty bread roll and cheese and ham that looked like the plastic stuff you got with the play kitchen when you were little.
Me and two friends went for a week and our first impression was that it was horrible and we weren’t staying there. However after the first night we realised we were only using it to sleep and to get ready and at least it was clean.
The atmosphere in the hotel was brilliant, everyone was up for a laugh and you could chat away with everyone.
If you don’t mind the fact that you may not get a balcony and there is no fridge (but we used the bidet and filled it with ice to cool our drinks) and no air con then the hotel itself is clean and friendly and the pool is nice.
I am returning to Ibiza next year and will not be booking up for this hotel but go and see for yourself as it was not as bad as you first think.

We booked a cheap club 18-30's holiday, working out to be approx £320 each for a weeks B&B. You get what you pay for BUT WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.
We are both 23 and had read mixed reviews about the Llevant. ALL of the staff (it's family run) are lovely very polite and willing to help. The night porter (pedro? his name began with P I think) is very sweet he will order you a safe reliable cab if you need one (they were mega quick to arrive too). He is strict with anyone that takes the 'mick' in the hotel at night but he is very charismatic and lovely.
The rooms are basic but fine. You can hire the security box/key and I would recommend this for peace of mind. Rooms are cleaned daily and the maid is lovely. I recommend to request a room with a balcony (I've read some have a wall by the window etc).
Down sides to the rooms - No air con (but you can hire fans fairly cheaply form reception) and no fridge - but I suppose this is to prevent too much drinking in rooms etc.
Yes the hotel is not exactly modern but what made the hotel pleasant was the good atmosphere. The great staff and the club 18-30's reps were a lot of fun (but not pushy) they were top notch. We love you Edd, Prince and Tom!
The type of people that stay in the Llevant seem to be the young party types mostly 18-30's types so yes there will be some noise at night etc, but while we were there we had no problems and no trouble and we did get sleep. The guests all got on great and there was often a gathering on the sofa's downstairs in reception after a night out to chat and chill out before bedtime.
Plus's to the Hotel Llevant - Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, lovely chirpy maid, Internet access 24/7, hirable fans and security boxes, amazing paella from the pool bar (best I tasted out there!), nice pool area, great location close to West End and San Antonio Bay.
Down sides - No air con, basic breakfast and no fridge in rooms.
You get what you pay for but this is a lovely little hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed staying in.

Word off advice to everyone out there! Don't sty in this hotel, it is the worst hotel I have ever seen! It is a flee pit! There is no air conditioning and the rooms are like match boxes.
The hotel owners are the snottiest people I have ever met, arrogant is the word I think.
I stayed there a week with me friend and in a week my phone got stolen FROM MY APARTMENT, oh and there was a huge hole in the bathroom ceiling from a flood.
We woke up with people in are room sweeping the water from around us! We didn't even know! the staff had let themselves into the room while we was in bed!
The hotel is so out of date, and stinks! Oh they charge you 60 eros on arrival... they forgot to mention that!
DONT STAY HERE! I am being quite polite here as well... it is situated in a good area though close to places.
I paid £350 to stay there, what a mistake it was!

When I heard from my friends we were staying in a 2 star hotel in Ibiza my expectations were extremely low, I thought there would be cockroaches everywhere, no maid service a rubbish pool and small cramped rooms.

On arrival we were ushered into the reception to be briefed by the manager who told us 12 o clock is quiet time! Obviously this isn’t stuck to but he does stay awake literally all night reminding people of this rule and threatening to kick the unruly out!!!
The reception area is very smart with a hotel bar that serves every drink you could possibly want, and there is a breakfast area but the most you get is bread ham and cheese so don’t expect to live on that for the duration of your holiday.
The lift is very small but there is one present which is always a bonus in a two star hotel and u can chuck your case in and meet it at your floor, I’ve seen worse lifts back home.
I was very surprised when I entered the room I was sharing with my two friends it was spacious and clean and we even had a balcony. The rooms don't have air conditioning but you can rent a fan from 2 euros a night for a fortnight we paid 25.00 euros. Also there is a charge of 30 euro deposit per person when you arrive which I wasn't aware of and there is a charge for the safe, some of which you do get back.

There is a maid service who brings clean towels every day but if you want your bedding changed she does need a bit of a hint so if you want clean sheets strip the bed and leave it on the floor.

The pool is very nice and quite large, it is shared with two other hotels but it is never that busy and there are plenty of sun beds the pool bar has reasonable prices and the food is quite nice.

The hotel is a 2 or 3 minute walk from the west end and a 3 minute walk from es paradise and Eden, there is also a small beach very close by and plenty of fast food restaurants such as burger king and kfc.

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re just looking for somewhere that is cheap, clean and in the centre of all the action!!!! (And I didn’t see one cockroach the whole holiday)

We went to hotel Llevant for 2 weeks...

We went to hotel Llevant for 2 weeks and it was the best 2 weeks ever!!! Ibiza is ace! The hotel is in an excellent location it has a 24hr supermarket at the bottom of the street. You go right at the bottom of the road and its about 5 min walk to the strip! Loads of restaurants on the way.
If you go left at the bottom of the road, there’s the beach, loads of little shops, and more bars. Eden and Es Paradis are 5 mins away from you. You must go to the water party at Es Paradis that was the best night, but the water doesn’t start till about half 5 but well worth it! Across from the hotel is a shop where you can buy all your tickets for clubs - they do good group discounts.
The hotel its self is OK, it’s clean and the pool is nice, but you aren’t allowed to take your own water and food around the pool, but their food is nice! They will just take yours off you if you do, which is annoying. They also didn’t like you taking your own beer in to the hotel, they were forever telling us to be quiet and threatening to kick you out. If you don’t listen, they turn your electricity off in your room.. But everyone still is noisy and when we went it was full of young groups of people up for a laugh. The reps there were great, they are always around to help.
Even though the hotel staff did moan at us a lot, they are nice people and the hotel is in a great place to stay.

The worst place I have ever stayed at...

Jul 2007, Miss AB Bafekr

The worst place I have ever stayed at in my whole life. Right where to begin.
Well when we got there even before we walked in I was gutted because it looks horrible and dingy from the outside. The lift only fits 1 or 2 people in and when we got to the room I was so annoyed.
It was so old and horrible looking. The decorations where minging with brown curtains and brown bedding with holes in it. There was just a small bathroom and no kitchen which meant we didn't have a fridge or cooker. It was horrible and stuffy in the rooms and the noise was so annoying.
We are both 22 and 21 so knew before booking what to expect because we wanted something close to the centre but it was well too noisy here. As soon as we got there people had their music on full blast and there was always arguments and shouting going on.
You can never EVER get any sleep because the rooms are too hot, there's people shouting and playing music all through the night AND the bloody scooters and lorry's were always driving past.
We were booked in for Bed and Breakfast and what a load of rubbish that was. We were ripped off so much. We only went down to breakfast twice and ate it once. It was so disgusting, all it was, was a rock hard horrible little roll and ham and cheese and horrible old tasting orange juice. We had to force it down our necks heaving as we did.
We came down for breakfast the next day hoping it was different but it was exactly the same so we left it untouched and went to buy breakfast from the pool bar.
The pool was fine, food average and pool was clean, most of my days were spent here.
I loved the West End with plenty of busy bars and a few small clubs and Eden was pretty amazing, we went to Judgement Sundays and Twice as Nice and they were brilliant so if they are on when you go make sure you get tickets.
I wish we went to Pacha and Space because I had heard they were brilliant too but they were out of town and you had to get a bus or 2 so we didn't. Apart from that awful hotel I had an amazing time BUT would never go back to Ibiza because I thought it was too rough and while I was on that hol so many bad things happened to people.

Because of this hotel being on a one...

Apr 2007, Miss F Pepperrell

Because of this hotel being on a one way street, our coach dropped us at the top of the road and we had to walk down. On arrival we were greeted with a shabby 70s looking hotel. When we went into reception we were greeted with trellis, which marked out the bar and shabby 70s sofas and carpet. We weren’t that fussed as 3 18 year old girls we just wanted a bed to sleep in!
Guy on reception was polite enough...we were shocked to find that there was only one lift and it only fitted 1 person and a suitcase (only just) or 2 people squashed in. My mate got stuck in the lift as there are no signs saying when the lift stopped you had to open the door yourself. There was a night man on security-we named him pedro- every night, and every evening before we went out and every night we came back he told us off and threatened us with the police. The hotel was full of teenagers playing music full blast yet he told us off all the time for doing it. My friend is a smoker and we wouldn’t let her smoke in the room so she had to go outside and he had a go about that all the time. He was just there to have a go and it got really tiring esp when we were the most behaved guests there!
When we got to our room-217 I think-it was pleasant enough. Bathroom was a nice size, safe in wardrobe and a big mirror-so we were happy. However the beds were rock hard and the blankets were dated and smelt like old people. The balcony was really narrow but then we only used it to dry our bikinis. The hotel floor is rock hard and marble-would not suggest for families because a child could get seriously hurt on the floor.
We were disappointed that the pool was over the road, it was unclean most of the time and dead lizards floating around made us not want to go in. You weren’t allowed to bring your own drinks into the pool area and had to pay the rip of charges for a tiny bottle of water-over a Euro I think. However the food there was nice and we had breakfast there every morning. We didn’t bother getting up for breakfast in the hotel because it finished at like 9am and from what other guests said it was disgusting anyway.
The hotel was in a really good location-10/15 mins away from everything and over the road from the beach. I would recommend using the hotel bar before you go out-the guys behind there are so funny and they do deals every night- try their red vodka it’s a must! However I would stress at the bottom of the road there are people trying to sell tourists drugs but if you smile and say no thanks they won’t hassle you.
If you are planning to go on the dodgems-DONT. I don’t drive so was happy enough to get in the dodgem and just drive around not bumping into anyone. The guy who owned it was in a dodgem too, saw this and decided it would be fun to ram into me super fast. Well it wasn’t fun. I came out of the dodgem and sliced my knee open on the underside of the steering wheel so much that it bled for two days straight and had to have stitches in it-not nice.
On the second week we were in Ibiza, how room got broken into. In fact every single room that had a balcony was broken into. We were lucky that everything was in our safe and that we had the safe key on us. We arrived back at the hotel about half 3, to find 2 girls sobbing their eyes out on the stairs out the front. One of the blokes we had made friends with said that their passports and euros had been stolen....they had left their safe key under their mattress.
We opened our room to find the bathroom trashed, mattresses up turned, suitcases turned over, wardrobe wide open, curtains broken and the balcony doors wide open. Thankfully nothing taken. The police were rubbish; just standing around, it was the rep sorting everything out. It turned out that even though you "locked" the balcony door, it didn’t actually lock so anyone could get in.
The thieves just climbed up the balconies. We refused to stay in that room and got moved to one on the ground floor finally at half 6 in the morning which was far too small for 3 girls however it was surrounding by buildings so no-one could get in.
Completely enjoyed the holiday-bars and clubs etc 10/10 but the hotel is 4/10 is because we got broken into which was the hotels fault, the pool was not on the hotel grounds, the extortionate prices we had to pay for wanting a drink by the pool, and pedro!

Urgh... Where to begin!
Hotel is rubbish, beds are like sheets of rock, so uncomfortable. Smelly and stuffy, had no balcony, just a window with some bars that looked over into a street, was like being in prison!
Someone could easily have climbed up and got in, made friends with the lucky lucky man on the street below, though we were so close we could have taken the hat off his head!
At least we had some light though; my boyfriend and his friend had a little window that looked out onto a brick wall.
Whole hotel was old, dated, and shabby. Never ate breakfast although it was free, or used the hotel bar!
Pool was across the road, though no-one would come in with me due to the nastiness floating in it, or the dead lizards around it.
Had much more fun going to the beaches (do not use San An beach, what a state!) The pool bar was nice, served some nice food and cocktails!
On the plus the hotel was SO close to the west end it took less than a minute to walk there... for these reasons it's very noisy! Definitely a bonus though, short walk to Es Paradis also and the fair.
West End is great fun for some cheese, try Tropicana bar for a great time; we loved it in there for a good night starter! Radio 1 were there when we were which was also a bonus!
Would definitely return to Ibiza as its great fun, defo need to watch the sunset! Would never stay in this hotel again or advise it to anyone!
