Thought I would write a review based on Pier Beach seeing as my daughter and I relied on the input of others before booking where we'd stay for the duration of our holiday.
We spent 8 nights at this Aparthotel, which I might add is very reasonably priced considering its' location, and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the studio (which was a decent size) was clean with twin beds and plenty of storage. There was a well equipped kitchenette and fresh towels in the bathroom. As an added bonus, the airconditioning was free and there was a safe for our valuables. The best thing about this place was the sandy beach and crystal blue ocean view which was directly across the road from the hotel, literally a minutes walk away. Being a sea lover, this was a deal clincher for me and I can honestly say I did not want to leave.
We began our holdiay in late August so there wasn't much nightlife to speak of but for those of you who prefer laid back vacations and/or have young families, this is a great place to stay as you'll have restaurants and shops as well as the Med at your doorstep.
Although Pier Beach is supposed to have a pool, we did not see evidence of this as the rooftop was closed but this did not bother us in the slightest as we spent our time at the beach on daily. Further to this, I cannot comment on the quality of food served in the restaurant below as we didn't eat there but can say it was busy every evening and so I take it as a sign that they offered good service. Finally, there were building works being carried out next door but we barely noticed this as we were not disturbed by any noise during the whole of our stay. Hope this review helps!!!

An absolutely fabulous, modern, well equipped, pleasant and friendly place to stay and 10 metres from the beach. Our room (313!) overlooked the lovely beach and the sunsets were wonderful. Air conditioning comes free of charge which is well worth looking into as other places in Paphos charge a fortune. One can eat quite happily for £10 per night downstairs in the restaurant, or find other places to eat - due to the horrific price of Euros versus £'s - allow £10 - £20 per night. Pier Beach surpassed all our expectations - good lifts, wonderful view - large balcony on which one could sit and watch the world go by. Excellent bath, shower and loo. Lovely modern fridge, with good kitchen facilities and lovely table - good for working on (business trip!) and eating at. Will definitely return for a holiday! We were told that we would have an inland view and instead we had idyllic surroundings. Beds - comfortable - absolutely nothing to complain about - the road outside is often noisy, but this IS Limassol. Handy for shops and the plus was the beach being 10 metres away!!!

We found the Pier Beach satisfied all our requirements, it was clean, well equipped and the staff are friendly. It is located on the see front with a five minute walk to the old town. The lively tourist area is easily accessible by car or the number 30 bus, but is a little way up the coast.
Unlike other hotel apartment there is no extra for the air-conditioning. We found the balcony door was not closing properly and the staff had it repaired quickly without fuss. It lacks a swimming pool, but it is located across from the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it is clean, friendly and comfortable. There is no pool but the beach is a stones throw over the road, we were also told that you are able to go to any other hotel pools as long as you buy a couple of drinks they do not mind. Our room was very spacious and had lots of storage, we didn't cook in the kitchenette but it seemed perfectly adequate with pots, pans, plates and cutlery. The Pier Beach is located in the old town which is much better than the new part as it is more Greek and you get the authentic feel of Cyprus. It is a 10 minute walk from Hero Square which is where all of the locals spend their evenings and where we spent most of ours. There are a few bars and restaurants and the kebab shop is well worth a visit. The best restaurant near here is the Meze Taverna, the food is home made and absolutely delicious. It is family run and they had a restaurant in England for many years. They are very friendly and can't do enough for you and it is very reasonable. We visited a couple of times in our 1 weeks holiday. The reason for our visit to Cyprus was to attend my mum's wedding and I have to say it was one of the best wedding's I've ever been to, so relaxed and everything went smoothly. The Cypriot people at the town hall made everything perfect and really went above and beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend Cyprus as a place to get married. Overall our week in Cyprus was perfect and I would definitely go back.
