What a fab place to stay! The hotel...

What a fab place to stay! The hotel is run by a family quartet, they are fun, personable and very efficient.
I stayed on a Tuesday and the Quiz was on that week which is well attended by locals and competition is fierce. I joined in but did not win.
The Food is great, with a varied choice and very well cooked and presented. I would recommend anyone to stay there.
I will be back.

Yes I would have to agree with the previous review, great little hotel room was very large and comfortable, although was on the road side so I was woken by the traffic though wasn’t too excessive just I live in a very quiet street so I was to notice this.
There is free wireless internet available although the signal was weak due to the thick walls from the old building.
The food was good and reasonably priced and was plenty enough. Was staying on business so original booking was for 3 nights, but my plans changed and only downside is the hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy so I had to pay for unused night.
The staff were all very friendly ... and had a go at the quiz whilst at the bar and yes it’s a busy night Tuesday and a keen participation of the crowd. Nice range of beers and many local options on sale.
Would I stay here again yes but I would have to make sure my plans were set in stone as I don’t like the 48hour cancellation policy but will be aware next time.
Good all round pleasant comfortable hotel.
