Sleep Inn Derby

Have now stayed here a number of times (at least 8) for business reasons, whilst the room are comfortable, large, clean and have air conditioning the food (or availability) is terrible!!!! I really recommend this hotel due to the location, level of service and the rooms but please try and avoid eating in the hotel, on a number of occasions I have been told that this or that is not available and please have a free pint as an apology. there are plenty of quality eating places within walking distance and this would proved a good... more

Stayed here for a Friday night in August instead of getting a taxi back home. Much cheaper than that! Booked through expedia with a great rate of £46.95. This is £20 cheaper than the Purple website rates. The rooms are very spacious - much larger than Premier Lodge, Travel Inn etc and in my opinion more thought has gone into their design. The curved bathroom wall sort of removes that corridor feel when you enter hotel rooms - you know, walk past the toilet, wardrobe and finally reach the bedroom. Not at the Purple though! Stayed in room 5. On ground floor. Very pleased with large room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Powers shower with seat. TV (Sky 1) Tea/Coffee, and Hairdrier. Great choice for breakfast. Middle age couple.

Just stayed at Sleep Inn Derby after a friends recommendation. Great location opposite Derby County Football Stadium. We booked a standard room and were given a large room with an amazing walk in power shower, it even had a seat inside! Serve food in hotel which is a gastro pub type menu, we ate in one night and the food was lovely. Although there is a Frankie & Bennys opposite and other restaurants nearby. Great service and friendly staff. Do not understand why previous review thought it looked like a prison, to me it looked the same... more
