The Windmill is a fabulous place to stay. Upstairs there is a lovely double bedroom with air-conditioning. Downstairs is small but perfectly formed. The facilities are excellent, full-size oven (if you feel the urge to cook),iron and ironing board, kettle, toaster and everything you might need to self cater. The outside area is large and the pool is great with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for that much-needed shade. The car was well used for visiting the pretty nearby villages. Overall, the accommodation is to be highly recommended as is Simply Travel who organised the whole holiday efficiently.

The Windmill Villa in Paxos is perfect for couples and is an ideal place to relax and forget the stresses and strains of life in the UK!
The dedicated Paxos Simply travel rep: "Clare" is brilliant and the transfers from Corfu were arranged perfectly.
The car hire was also excellent as we were met off the boat in Paxos with the car waiting a few yards from where we arrived and all ready to go. The instructions to get to the villa were very clear and we took only a few minutes to get there.
The Windmill has all that you need, with a delightful double bedroom with great views and is fitted with a large double wardrobe and excellent air conditioning.
The kitchen has everything that is needed to cook a meal if needed, however the outside built in barbecue is a real bonus and we used it every other night.
The pool is 1.5M deep with steps set in the pool and is cleaned daily.
The maid cleans the villa 3 times a week and changes the linen and towels once a week.
The location is also very good as it is placed in the centre of the island with great views and is just minutes away from any of the three major towns in Paxos.
The cost of living has increased in Paxos so you will find it is more expensive than the UK but well worth it!
We are going back again next year and really can't wait ... its the best holiday we have ever had.
