Excellent half term week break for the 4 of us (2 Adults, Kids 8 & 6). 1st impressions were how clean the resort, complex and apartments were.
Plenty to do at Dunas Caleta, even if you never leave the complex; large and small pool (water cold but godsend when hot!), organised activities for kids all day and evening, supermarket, sauna, games room, tennis court, kids playground all on-site! Beach, with sun beds & shades and 3 beach-side restaurants a 5 min walk from complex. Plenty of places to eat on main street, we had Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Spanish, Italian and good old British fayre all in 1 week!
Took a day trip to Lanzarote, was good for adults but not much for kids to do, plus long day mostly spent on coach, also shop around for best deals on various tours as Thomson were more expensive although at least you had the assurance of booking with a reputable company against the local firms.
Evening entertainment every night at Complex inc. Magician, Reggae Singer, ABBA tribute band & even a Parrot show!! Kiddies disco every night and major sports events shown on big screen. Well recommend Dunas Caleta.

We needed a fun holiday for the kids, and a relaxing break for the adults. The facilities were good for the children and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The evening entertainment was superb and although we would usually make our own plans we spent most nights at the complex.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great and the pool was very cold but the location was good being close to the shops and beach and there were plenty of nice places to eat and drink especially a Chinese buffet that we recommend!

We have just returned after having 1 week in Los Alisios and will certainly be returning! Great location close to the centre and beach and we could walk everywhere. Entertainment available next door at sister complex if you fancied it, we went to a couple of shows which were very family orientated and good fun.
What can we say apartments were excellent, maid service very good, bar staff friendly and swimming pool very clean with plenty sun loungers. We had three boys with us aged 10, 7, 5 and they loved Los Alisios and the resort of Corralejo.
We ate out every night in a different restaurant and never had a bad meal, we would recommend the old town. Lots of shops selling kiddy tosh which ensured my boys loved shopping!

I have been to Corralejo 7 times and 6 of those times have been here. A fantastic hotel, well located and very good staff.
Every time we come here we always make friends with the staff.
Bar is very good with nice cold refreshing drinks when it’s hot. Pool is very nice if you’re very hot and deep for a good spot of diving!
Overall a sensational holiday and well worth staying 2 weeks!

We (wife and I) have just come back from a week in Los Alisios Corralejo, and we had a fantastic time! These apartments are spot on, with really friendly, helpful staff (Felix at the bar is a top man!). The apartments are cleaned 4 day a week, with fresh towels twice a week (we went Wednesday to Wednesday). We had a 2nd storey apartment- 1 Bedroom, nice bathroom with a decent sized kitchen/lounge. The kitchen was clean, and was fitted with a twin-ring cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. We had no problems with ants (though I did notice loads on the ground, so maybe a ground floor apartment might be a problem??). The balcony over-looked the pool/bar area. I found the complex very relaxing as it was quite quiet. We met a number of people who had been coming for years (if you met Cor and Debbie from Holland say Hi....they are a great couple who make you feel really welcome). I used to wonder when people say that they have been back loads of times (always thought that they are a bit sad!), but after being in Los Alisios I have no issue with returning. The pool is spot on, and was cleaned every morning (plenty of sun loungers and not too busy- unlike Dunas Caleta - the sister complex, which was heaving!). Drink prices are OK...I can't comment on the food as we ate out all of the time (for an excellent restaurant visit Avenidas in the old town of Correlejo- fantastic food, great prices and the best, most friendly service anywhere in Correlejo). I liked Correlejo more than any other Canarian resort that i have been too (especially in this price bracket). The beaches are fantastic, the food is excellent and reasonably priced (especially if you get away from the main drag), not too many touts (stay clear of Music Square) and there were some good bargains to be had (as long as you stay well out of the electronic shops...you WILL get ripped off in those.....stick to booze, fags and perfumes!).

Los Alisios was fantastic. Very clean apartments, friendly staff. Felix and Carol behind the bar were fab. Felix says he has 3 girlfriends and seems to think this is ok!!! And is a great magician. He did 3 or 4 tricks for us which the kids just loved.
Weather was great. Best place for steak was La Terassa Steakhouse which is 3rd turning on the left heading down the main street. Came back yesterday and would go back today if I could. Best holiday for me in ages. Am going to book for next year.

I read a lot of negative comments about these apartments before we went on holiday so were a bit worried about what to expect. However, they had recently been refurbished and were well equipped. We had a one bedroom apt, which was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children, very clean and lots of towels! A nice patio, good atmosphere, small and friendly. The bar closed at midnight so you weren’t kept up all night either - lots of people we spoke to had holidayed there several times previously, which is a good sign?!?
Good location, not too far from the main street but not isolated either. Pool area was clean and safe for kids. One problem, which is general on the island - Cockroaches. The management fumigate regularly. You may see a few here and there, just stamp on them or use the spray provided.
Wasn’t expecting Corralejo to be so big, could do with a bit of updating but lots of restaurants (especially Chinese). Shops usual holiday stuff, but one really good Spanish Clothes shop near the Atlantico Centre (got a bikini reduced from 60 euros to 10!)
Drive down to the South Coast, and see the beaches there, Costa Calma more sophisticated than Corralejo. If you have kids go to the Waterpark (we had a great day out there) or the Zoo, but hire a car and go yourselves rather than on an organised trip.
Sand dunes are very impressive, there’s enough to do for a fortnight for a family. Very hot though, be careful even if it’s cloudy, you will still burn.
Enjoy your hols if you visit these apartments - you should do.

This was a much needed holiday for a family of 4 on a budget.
No problems at east midlands airport - no delays, friendly staff, good facilities.
Flight comfortable. Coach fine (35 mins) rep informative.
Hotel staff friendly, plus they had good knowledge of the area. One staff member takes holiday makers on a trip to a volcano on a Thursday free of charge.
Room had basic, clean facilities.
We didn’t use the on site entertainment as it’s not 'our thing' - but from what we heard from other families the on site shows etc were excellent - 1 family we spoke to even came from another hotel to watch the shows.
Pool was cold (who cares) but large enough for everyone to have a good time.
Very good location for all shops, restaurants etc.
All in all a very good value holiday.

I would recommend the Dunas Club Apartments, they are very well equipped and spacious....very very clean and helpful friendly staff - always a spot by the pool for you to sunbathe and very child friendly, a nice spot close to the harbour and a short stroll into the busy resort of corralejo - a definite 10/10 for the Dunas Club.

All I can say about this place is don’t bother unless you have a really high boredom threshold! Complex itself was ideally located and clean ,however our apartment had no window lock and I complained 3 times ,nothing was done ,had to wedge closed with a brush! Woken up every morning with a foul stench and I mean choking! Of sewage when asked what it was were told the hose pipes that watered plants were causing it as they had stood in the sun! Rubbish more like the plants were watered with sewage water!
Bar staff short changed us 3 times and were so slow I could have fermented the grapes quicker myself! Food not bad! Advertised as having gym, supermarket sauna, laundry none of these were ever open in 2 weeks! Entertainment consisted of an annoying duo Garry and Nicky, Gary having the most annoying voice in Christendom, same songs in mini disco same order every night, professional shows and I use the term loosely were few and far between other than that it was quiz night ,music quiz night ,theme music quiz night you get the picture boring!
The town of Corralejo is not for kids undoubtedly the beaches are beautiful but that’s it and there are hardly any trips to go on as there is nothing in Fuerteventura so they promote Lanzarote instead!
The Thomson rep had been there for 7 weeks yet still had to read his script from sheets of paper and was the most uncharismatic rep I have ever known, I could have stood up and said more about the island after 2 weeks than he could.
The pool is freezing and my son, niece and 2 other children cut their feet open on broken tiles in the pool, after we reported it we were told the pool would be closed down, was it heck!
On a lighter note the reception staff were more helpful and the kids reps absolutely wonderful but if I were you with kids like our party of 8 with four kids I would give this complex a wide birth by about 2,000 miles!
