Newmarket Promotions advertise Great Western hotel on their website as the standard for the Eden/Lost Gardens tour. This has got to be a trades description issue. I assume that the Great Western is at least 3 or 4 star the pictures are of a modern, spacious room. The Trevone Hotel has to be a 1 star or less. The rooms are pathetically small, the bathroom is none existent, maybe 3ft by 6ft. No window, no Expelleir. The food is processed and frozen.
It was the most awful hotel, if this hotel had been on the website we would never have booked the holiday.
I have written to Newmarket with my complaint and the letter I have received back does not answer my complaint at all.
I hope people who read this will avoid this particular trip with Newmarket and go with another company as the Lost Gardens and the Eden Project are well worth seeing.
