Morgana Hotel

The Montana is a good value for money accommodation. It is located in the Termi train station area which is not the most desirable in Rome but was perfectly safe.
Do you want to pay twice the money to stay in the up market Tourist area, It is a good place to get around from being close to the metro station, bus terminus and staring point for the hop on hop off city sightseeing tour buses. There is also an excellent traditional Italian restaurant opposite called Giovannis which we can strongly recommend. The Hotel itself was perfectly adequate .Our room was small but clean and comfortable and had television showing some English speaking channels.
The bathroom was excellent. Our only slight criticism was the room was too hot. The cold buffet style breakfast had a good choice and there were no restrictions on how much you could eat. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was also a small bar and lounge area in the hotel, provided you do not want to be in the hub of the tourist area of Rome we thought the Montana Hotel was a good choice.
Our point worth noting is if you are flying by either Easy Jet or Ryanair the coach from the airport drop off/pick up point is only a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient.
