Quality Hotel

after reading some websites reviews my girlfriend and I were a little worried with our choice. how wrong can reviewer's be! Yes the hotel could do with some work but for the price we paid the amenities were more than value for money. Not often for £80 can you have a hotel with breakfast and evening meal included along with with it's own leisure facilities. On arrival the check in was friendly and professional (a rarity these days). the room was bigger and more than we expected. On our first evening as we sat in the bar chatting to a friendly bar maid the restaurant manager took the time to come through and talk us through the menu and asking if there was anything else they could do. As regular hotel user's we realise that the hotel was not overly busy but have stayed in many places were the staff have not tried to acknowledge us as individual's. The staff obviously enjoyed working in the hotel and this came across in a good way! The meal was excellent with hearty portions and the staff polite. Breakfast was busy but efficient with a good selection. Overall very happy with the stay if we had paid 5 star prices we would have expected more. However we would have got the friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so enjoyable!
