after our recent stay at hotel nestor we found it more than dis-satisfactory the hotel staff, namely andreas & george were awesom :D however the hotel manager was found to be very rude impolite & a complete areshole the door to our hotel room was kicked in by someone completly unknow to us and the managment firstly made us feel as tho this was our own fault or that we had caused the damage ourselves - then we were expected to pay 300 euros to get the dooor fixed!!!!! We did not end up paying for the dooor in the end but overall we did not have a very pleasant stay the foood was bland & repetitive also the rooms were not the best & the location was miles from anywhere i would not recommed this hotel to anyone other that older couples as they are less likely to be treated like criminals.

We just recently returned from a lovely two week stay in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. We stayed in the Nestor Hotel and found it to be of a wonderful hotel.
The hotel is situated 300m from the beach and about 300m from all the clubs and bars. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the facilities were very good.
I would definately reccomend this hotel as it is perfectly situated and has a wonderful pool and atmosphere about it. The breakfast every morning was very good and changed regularly. Lunch at the pool everyday was reasonably priced and the friendly staff always ready to wait upon you. With all the bars and restaurants situated nearby we chose not to eat at the hotel in the evenings however they did have a changing theme at there restaurant every night.
The pool is lovely and big and the entertainment on offer everyday was very enjoyable. The rooms were very big and spacious and clean. Although Ayia Napa is a party area we were very fortunate and had no loud guests on our floor.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday and I would definately recomend this to everyone.

Having just returned from a glorious week in Ayia Napa, I just need to tell the whole world about it.
I worked in Ayia Napa in the late 90's for 2 years and this is the first visit back and I regret not having returned sooner. The place has changed a fair bit, as one would probably expect - the most noticeable being that the resort has been built up an awful lot.
Going at this time of year, we expected to find still many youngsters on "drinking" holidays, but were surprised to find that a lot of bars and restaurants had now shut for the season and the majority of tourists seemed to be over 40.
The weather was glorious - exceeded 90 degrees every day.
The hotel - I was familiar with the hotel from many years back and was not disappointed! The cleanliness was second to none. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast included an incredible amount of choice for all nationalities. Having been there on B & B, we thought it only fair to try an evening meal once... and wished we did it more, it cannot be faulted.
The hotel do give guests the opportunity to upgrade room type on arrival, and also have the options of meal plans or all inclusive upgrade - whether this is an all year round option?
The only reason that the holiday has not been given a 10 - however minor - feel the only thing missing from the hotel rooms were tea and coffee making facilities!
Eating out - we did not have one bad meal, although we did experience bad service (waiting for meals) in a couple of restaurants.
All in all - a fabulous time to be had, and I won't be waiting another 10 years before returning - most definitely the Nestor.

I LOVE THE NESTOR HOTEL ITS GREAT!
I GO WITH MY FAMILY YEAR WE HAVE BEEN GOING FOR 7 YEARS AND WE ARE GOING BACK IN AUGUST FOR OUR 8TH YEAR.
THE BAR MAN GEORGE IS VERY NICE AND SO ARE ALL THE OTHER STAFF.
VERY NICE LOCATION, IT IS ONLY A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH AND HARBOUR.
THERE IS A PUB CALLED THE CROWN NEXT DOOR WHICH HAS NIGHT TIME ENTERTAINMENT AND NEXT TO THAT IS A MINI-SUPERMARKET WHICH SELLS EVERYTHING!! ONLY ABOUT A TEN MINUTE WALK TO THE SQUARE WHICH IS BRILL!
OVERALL RATING: 10 / 10

I can't possibly praise the Nestor enough! I've stayed there a total of 5 times over the past 4 years and i'm finding it hard going to a completely different resort this year.
The hotel itself is always spotless and rooms are cleaned everyday, bar Sundays, the cleaning maids along with all the staff are lovely! If you like to stay in a complex and are a bit wary of venturing out, no worries because the etertainment and the bar staff make the evenings good fun! On the other hand if you do decide to see what night lifes about, Ayia Napa sqaure is about a 5 minute walk away so the Nestor is situated in a perfect position!
The only bad thing is having to leave it behind and come home to the rain.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not think twice about booking this hotel. I have previously stayed in Ayia Napa in a 4 Star hotel and no way did it match up to the Nestor.
The hotel itself is lovely, reception and bar area inside are kept spotless. The rooms are cleaned every day, and fresh linen two or three times a week (you can ask for it more if you like). There is an ironing room on nearly every floor (so don't pack the useless travel iron!)
We were bed and breakfast and the choice of food was amazing, anything from yoghurts and fruit to full English breakfast! The pool area is kept lovely and clean, you do not need to fight for a sun bed and the sun beds are not packed in tightly together (also two minutes walk from the beach - although a short taxi ride will take you to the much nicer Nissi Beach area).
The bar staff are very friendly and the hotel put on children’s entertainment throughout the day ie: water polo, darts competitions, lilo races etc. If I had one complaint it would be that we had the neighbours from hell, two Swedish girls who stayed up all night playing music, running down the corridors screaming etc and then staying in bed all day with the do not disturb sign on their door.
After putting up with it for several nights we complained to the hotel reception who assured us this would not happen again - they would be told and if they continued to cause a nuisance they would be moved out of the hotel, we never heard another peep!
You are not very far from the nightlife - just a few minutes walk away, but far enough not to be kept awake at nights. A must for a good meal is Clarabell's and Sage!!!
ENJOY!

Have been to this hotel in 2004 and 2006 and will be back in 2008. What can I say, only fantastic. Should be considered a 4+ instead of a 3.
Breakfast brilliant, location brilliant and staff very friendly. George the barman is so good, he is Greek but from Australia and so helpful as are all the bar staff. Hotel is so clean and it has a good pool. Excellent restaurants nearby which include the Sage and the Polynesian. Don't miss out on the Japanese restaurant whether it be the old or the new is fantastic for both food and entertainment. If you are in Cyprus this has to be a must for everyone. Happy Holidays!!!

The best holiday so far! I loved every minute of it! I went with my cousin and her mum and they are frequent travelers as the go to the Nestor every autumn! The hotel itself is fabulous! Very spacious and a lovely layout.
The staff are certainly what makes the hotel 'come alive!' everybody gets along with practically all the members of staff! They make it a very enjoyable time. The nightlife organised at the hotel itself is really enjoyable, I think we stayed there 6 out of 7 nights because of the nightlife!
The surroundings are nice as well, a very lovely beach and shops close by! The only bad thing about it was only being a week and then having to come home. I would definitely recommend this to everybody!! It was a fantastic holiday!
