Comments:  When we arrrived I thought it was ok. very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. only one room had air conditioning that worked and the room I was in had an ants nest behind it so even if it did work im not sure if it would have been a good idea to turn it on. If your value your sleep I wouldnt recommend this hotel because from early hours the pool bar music is turned on at full blast. the receptionist were very friendly and helpful although we asked to be sent an electrician and who seemed to know nothing about electrics. location was good. The house keeping was inconsiderate letting themselves in and making a lot of noise talking loudly to one another but were nice enough to give my camera to reception after we had checked out. all in all i would stay there again if i was ever to return back to ayia napa

Comments:  We have just returned from what was meant to be a weeks stay at the Christabelle Hotel in Ayia Napa but we had to check out after the first night. We did book last minute but the accommodation was named so after reading reviews of the hotel on several sites we assumed it was basic but nothing could of prepared us for just how bad the apartments actually where. After being shown to our apartment which was down a road with no streetlights and plenty of local residents the human and animal kind which was approx 5 mins walk away from the reception, the hotel and the pool, we were really disappointed. The pictures I have posted tell there own stories of how badly run down the apartments are but whilst phoning the holiday rep to see about getting moved 3 people had formed a que at the reception desk reporting items being stolen (ipods, jewellery etc) from there room and the only people who had access to the room during that day was hotel staff. The apartments are definately nothing more than a hostel and should be avoided where possible.

Comments:  I stayed in the Christabelle with my boyfriend & family, we loved the hotel all staff were very friendly and it was only a 5 minute walk away from shops and bars.
Murphys bars just across the road from the hotel is run by a young couple (Pete & Dawn) who were lovely and made us feel very welcome, I would recommend going for a drink or something to eat at Murphys if you want to stay local.
Overall we loved our holiday in Ayia Napa and will be returning in August 2009 as our friends are getting married at Nissi bay, so unfortunately we wont be staying at the Christabelle as we are all staying in Hotels on Nissi Beach but will taking a trip to Murphys bar one night.
There was one down fall to the hotel, the maids!
200 cigarettes and a few other gifts were stolen from our room the day before we flew home which I was extremely angry about, it could only have been the maids as there was no sign of forced entry. So I would advise that you dont leave anything lying around in your rooms, but apart from that the pool was lovely, the food was nice and the drinks were a reasonable price so overall I give this hotel 9/10 loved it!!!

Comments:  The annexes are basic but everything you will need is there they are not far from the main street of action and are in easy walking distance for you to stagger home after a night of partying.

You have full use of the pool, which is clean and the pool bar although quite when we arrived as the season was just ending.

The cleaning service was good they came round everyday to replenish toiletries and the beds were changed every other day.

Overall a good place to stay in Ayia Napa as you spend most of your time partying...

Comments:  Seven friends and I stayed here for 2 weeks, we've only just returned to England.

This was a really great place to stay, the pool was a fair size and once you get in the habit of reserving your sunbed the night before, you won't have any issues there. The pool bar loves playing the same CD repeatedly, at first this can be annoying but these songs just become holiday anthems when you get back home!

Reception were very helpful with various problems we had with our room and always sent someone over quickly to deal with a problem. They even got us more hangers!

The rooms are really big, in fact none of us have ever stayed in such spacious accommodation before. We purchased air conditioning but I think you could survive the holiday without it, apart from when you've got the hair dryer and straighteners going that is.

The only real problem is the noise around the pool bar at night. My friend had to invest in earplugs to see her through the fortnight. It's not just music but people talking / screaming/ swearing.

We had the room with its own steps up from the pool, it was so convenient. Lucky you if you get that one!

Comments:  I went for two weeks with 17 friends!
our welcome was amazing and was shown straight to our rooms!
The staff were friendly and helpful and were always about for you to find.
The rooms are very basic but you need no more when your there to have fun.
rooms were cleaned every other day and new towels left.
Food and drink at the hotel was very cheap and affordable, even for us 18 year olds.
A couple of shops are just across the road from the rooms and was a 5 minute walk to the nightlife! and when i say nightlife i mean 40+ bars and clubs! it was amazing!
Also very close to the best beach on the island and only short drive to the best water park around! both worth the journey!
We did so much in the two weeks including the above and dolphine safari, booze cruise, beach party, went to the sunday market, rode camels....the list is never ending.
The hotel was exctly how it was explained in the book and the staffs help and friendlyness made our holiday one to remeber!
A deffinate for anyone wanting a fun, fullpacked holiday!!! x

Comments:  Went to Napa for the 1st 2 weeks of July and was in a party of 18. The Christabelle was perfect for us as it was full of big groups like us.

Sam the barman was always cheery however reception could have been more helpful at times.

The pool side food was a perfect snack to line our stomachs before a night out drinking and as our apartments were situated in the annex over the road we didn’t have for to walk home.

There was a member of the hotel walking up and down the halls marking down which room was making too much noise which annoyed us as there were 18 of us....did he expect us to sit in silence! We wouldn't have minded but we weren’t making too much noise and no-one had complained and it was only 11pm, but when we wanted to make a complaint about noise at 4am they didn’t seem to want to know!

Overall the hotel was perfect for what we wanted it for, just a few issues with the staff and the cleaners who were PARTICULARLY unfriendly.

Would recommend it to any groups of people 18 - 30 who are planning to have a clubbing holiday in Napa! Only a 5 minute walk to the main square...would recommend Happy Bar, Linekers Bar, Carwash, Castle Club, and the foam party at Club Ice to EVERYONE!

Comments:  Have just come back from my holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. Our room was great, the pool was brilliant and very clean and all the staff was fantastic and very friendly.

Going to book for next year and staying here again. If you’re up for a good time, then book these apartments as they are close to everything and very lively.
Thanks again and see you next year.

Comments:  There were five of us on holiday last year. Our ages ranged between 23 and 65 and we all had a fantastic time. The pool area is very clean and is nice to sit by.

There are lots of groups and couples but not a lot of families. The bar area is open 24 hours which is fantastic and there is a great happy hour in the afternoon. The rooms are quite basic but have everything that you need and they are clean.

The only bad thing I could say about the Christabelle is the walk to the beach as it’s a fair walk and there is a hill but it is very close to the square for a night time!!

This was our second time there and definitely not our last.

Comments:  Just arrived back from a week stay in Ayia Napa, really enjoyed it. Love Cyprus that’s my 4th time, though it had gone downhill a bit.

The apartments were ok, clean but extremely noisy. I stayed there before and it was a 24 hr bar and it wasn’t as bad as this time, and we didn’t go to bed until 6 after leaving river reggae.

The people above us played go karts with their furniture all day long, then decided to let of the fire extinguisher of through your bathroom window.

Told reception but they didn’t seem to care. No one loves a good time like us but that’s just being disruptive.

Suppose to be relaxed coming back I feel so stressed out, so only stay in the Christabelle if you’re a lunatic and suffer from insomnia.

And be careful in the square, got knocked down by a quad drove by a 16 yr old, could have been serious, thankful it wasn’t, just a few cuts.

Never seen many police about like the last time I was there, they kept the place under control.

Beautiful country but I think that’s Cyprus finished for me.... oh yeah the bus broke down on the way to airport going home 5 o clock in the morning and it stank....get it together Libra your slipping.

Comments:  Absolutely love love love the Christabelle. Having stayed here 4 times already would highly recommend to anyone. Being now in our late 20's it is the place to be. You can get food at any time day or night, the pool bar staff are more than happy to oblige (no pun intended). Sam, Timmie we love you guys so much. Sam is fab will keep you entertained and fully drunk! Timmie keeps the food coming especially when you get back at 6am and need a munchie.

All the staff are very helpful and the cleaning girls. Whenever we had a problem (there weren't many). Only 5 mins from the square for all the clubs and bars. Do watch out for the pr's and mopeds. Rooms are clean although we stayed in the annex as the rooms had just been refurbished. Although noise can be an issue everyone is on holiday. Best bit every part. Worst bit cant re book for 2008 as Libra don't do it any more hugely disappointed!

Comments:  Agree with previous reviews.

We went with friends and had 2 apartments which were very clean and spacious. They had a huge balcony but we were a bit restricted and having the satellite dish outside our window didn't help but did not detract from the holiday.
The bar area was really clean and the staff were helpful.

The pool was empty and I fulfilled my ambition to swim in the dark with the pool lights on!

Ayia Napa was not what I expected at all. We had a last minute deal just before the season ended and it was very quiet which was ideal for us. Still very hot though.
One of the best things was being able to park the hire car directly under our apartment block so not far to stroll.

Great local restaurants.
