My cousin won this holiday through a radio competition and I was lucky enough to be invited.
The resort is called pas de la casa and is in Andorra in the Pyrenees mountains.
Initially we were put off by the flight arriving at Toulouse being that there is a 3 hour coach journey to the resort. We did find however that this was not unpleasant as the scenery was so beautiful and there was a comfort stop. I think if we took our kids it may have been a little stressful though. Excellent value food (tax free country)and great skiing for all levels. Après ski excellent if you want lively friendly cafes, bars and clubs. Great for single women!
Our hotel was basic but clean and very near the chair lifts. Request a piste view, as the back of the hotel faces a back street. Breakfast was continental buffet style and was fine. No kettle in room though. Neilson reps were very friendly and professional.
The resort is purpose built and in a small area packed with nice cafes, pubs, nightclubs, leisure centre (with pool, hot tub and gym). Shops, hotels. Maybe not quite as pretty as I imagined but the mountains themselves looked spectacular and pistes fantastic.
